Chapter 0010
JANET’S POINT OF VIEW
The blonde woman in front of me was smiling warmly, her blue eyes shining with kindness. She was beautiful, her features soft but confident, and her clothes were elegant, fitting her like they were made just for her.
What surprised me the most wasn’t her appearance-it was the way she spoke to me. For people that I just met being nice this way, it is more like a movie to me.
“You must be Janet,” she said, her voice light and welcoming. “I’ve been waiting to meet you.”
I blinked, Did she say they were waiting for me.? Maybe Jasper must have told them. She spoke like she already knew me, like she had been expecting me. As if she had heard about me before.
I glanced at Jasper, confused. Jasper chuckled, noticing my hesitation. “Janet, this is Tracy. She’s Williams’s wife.”
I turned back to her, my heart skipping slightly. Who is Williams? And how come his wife knows me too well?. I asked myself as I appeared to be more confused than I was before.
I had barely processed meeting Jasper, and now, there were more. How many brothers did I have? Tracy reached out and gently took my hand. “Come inside,” she said warmly. “We have so much to catch up on.”
Her touch was gentle, but her eyes were sharp, studying me carefully. Then, her gaze dropped to my foot. Her smile faded. “Your ankle,” she said, concerned in her voice. “What happened?”
Jasper tensed beside me. I could feel the way his body stiffened. He wanted to say something, and I don’t think it would be better to come from him because he didn’t buy the excuse I gave him at the hospital. I was fast enough to answer Tracy, I forced a small smile. “I slipped while taking a bath,” I said casually.
Tracy raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. Maybe I’m just horrible at pretending. Jasper exhaled slowly, his jaw tightening, but he didn’t argue. Instead, he placed a hand on my back and guided me toward the door. “We’ll talk about that later,” he muttered. “For now, let’s go inside.”
The moment I stepped in, I felt breathless. The house was even more beautiful than I had imagined. Warm lights filled the massive space, casting a golden glow on everything. The floors gleamed under my feet, and the furniture was both modern and welcoming.
The sitting room alone was bigger than Rowan’s. I looked around, taking in the beauty, when suddenly, footsteps echoed from the stairs.
A man, slightly younger than Jasper, He had a strong, athletic build, his short-cropped black hair slightly tousled. His dark brown eyes were sharp, calculating, yet softened when he smiled. He walked toward us, his face lighting up as he saw me.
Without hesitation, he pulled me into a hug.
“It’s nice to finally meet you, Janet,” he said, his voice deep but kind. Did he know me too?.
Jasper chuckled. “Janet, this is Williams. Tracy’s husband.”I pulled back slightly, looking at him in

surprise. If he is Tracy’s husband that means he is My brother too cause Jasper mentioned others. Before I could even process it, I heard more footsteps.
Two more men walked in, They stopped their conversations as soon as they saw me. Without hesitation, they walked over and hugged me.
Jasper smiled. “Janet, meet Dickson and Peter.” He gestured toward each one.
I stared at them, my heart pounding. So I have four brothers.? I had thought I was alone for so long. Now, I was surrounded by people-by family.
Jasper sighed. “There’s one more. Kyle. But he’s currently abroad for work.”
I felt my throat tighten. “So… I have five brothers?” Jasper smiled. “Yes. And now, you’re home.”Dickson was the first to speak. “Do you need anything right now?”
I shook
my head quickly, still overwhelmed. “I-I’m fine.” Even when I don’t mean I keep saying that. Williams stepped forward. “We’re sorry it took us this long to find you.” His voice was full of regret.
Jasper took a deep breath before speaking again. “Let’s introduce everyone properly.” He pointed to himself first. “I’m the eldest. I run Beckett Media Group and manage private equity funds.” He said as his blue eyes stared at me.
My eyes widened slightly. Clearly he is a CEO. And I’m doubting if his friend really owes the car, he used to pick me up from the hospital.
Jasper moved on. “Williams is the Head of the military-industrial complex and a pioneer in battlefield PTSD
treatment. He and Tracy have a daughter, Renie.”
Williams nodded, smiling softly. As he smiled at me, that was when I noticed a light scar ran along his jawline, a mark maybe he got from his military training or so, making him look even more rugged and commanding.
Jasper turned to Dickson. “Dickson is the president of Langley Supreme Court and a professor of criminal psychology.” My mouth parted slightly in shock. He is the most composed of them all. He had neatly styled dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes Just like Jasper. His lean, refined face gave him the look of a sharp intellectual, fitting for his career.
Then, Jasper gestured toward Peter. “And Peter, well… he is the youngest and he’s also a Hollywood actor and a music producer.”I blinked. Peter Beckett? The famous actor?. I can’t believe he is my brother. I’m a big fan of his. His wavy, golden-brown hair that fell effortlessly over his forehead and striking hazel eyes that seemed to sparkle with mischief. Just like in his movies.
Peter smirked, reading my expression. “Yep. That’s me.” just as if he read my mind. Or maybe my thoughts are too loud.
Jasper chuckled. “And lastly, Kyle. He’s a Nobel Prize winner in medicine and a renowned neurosurgeon. He is the one abroad for his work.” I stared at them, overwhelmed.I had spent years thinking I was alone. And now, I was surrounded by people who were not only successful but willing to support me.
“We’re really sorry we didn’t find you earlier,” Jasper said again. “But we’re here now. And we’re ready to help with anything you need.”

I swallowed, my emotions tightening in my chest. Was this real?. I pitched my lips a bit to know if I’m dreaming but I’m not.
Jasper smiled. “You don’t have to worry about anything anymore. Just ask, and all of us will make it happen.
“}
I exhaled, trying to process it all. Before I could respond, Tracy clapped her hands. “Dinner is ready.”The dining room was just as breathtaking as the rest of the house. The long table was beautifully set, and the food smelled incredible.
As we all sat down, I couldn’t help but notice how different this was from the Thayers.
At Rowan’s house, dinners were formal, cold. I hardly eat with him. Most times when he came back the dinner might have gone cold. Sometimes he doesn’t even bother to eat.but Here, there was warmth, laughter, genuine care.
As we ate, I mostly listened. My brothers asked me questions, wanting to know more about me.
Jasper, of course, took the lead. “She an eyebrow. “Really? That’s imp That’s amazing, Janet. We’ll
