When the elevator reached her floor, Harriet used her room card 

to open the door, and the staff had already delivered her 

luggage. 

It was a VIP room with an ocean view. 

Harriet opened the curtains and looked out at the sea and 

beach outside the hotel. Suddenly, she recalled the scene 

downstairs just now-Ellsworth had agreed to host a wedding 

banquet for himself and Kelsey soon. 

With her arms gently crossed over her chest, Harriet couldn’t 

help but smile. 

She had tried her best; she had no regrets. 

After standing by the floor-to-ceiling window for a while, Harriet 

grabbed her phone and room card and went downstairs. 

It was a rare moment of relaxation, with such beautiful scenery- 

she couldn’t let it go to waste. 

Chapter 50 

So, after leaving the hotel, she went to see the sea, walked on 

the beach, and ate a lot of delicious food outside. 

Here, no one knew her. She was just an ordinary traveler. 

Meanwhile, Ellsworth was having a lively time with the others. 

In the evening, Johnathan and Darrick arrived as well. 

Johnathan asked him, “Where’s Hara?” 

Ellsworth replied calmly, “She should be here by now.” 

Johnathan laughed, “What do you mean, ‘should be here’? 

Haven’t you contacted Hara at all? Even if you’re getting divorced, since you’re both on a business trip in the same place, you should at least let her know.” 

At the mention of divorce, Ellsworth shot him a cold look. 

Seeing this, Johnathan made a zipping-his-lips gesture, not bothering to say more. 

Kelsey was here this time too, so how could he possibly remember Hara. 

Ellsworth had his own lively world, and Harriet had her own ways of passing the time. 

Chapter 50 

After dining out, she went to the night market and bought a 

beautiful large conch shell at a stall, planning to bring it back as a gift for Kathie. 

A little after ten, with her feet and calves tired from walking, 

Harriet headed back to the hotel. 

At this hour, the hotel was quite lively, with some people 

heading out for fun and others returning-everyone was here for 

the business exchange event. 

Harriet saw a few familiar faces, but since everyone seemed 

busy, she didn’t go over to greet them and went straight 

upstairs. 

It wasn’t until she entered the elevator that her ears finally 

found some peace. 

When the elevator reached her floor, the long corridor was even 

quieter; her high heels made no sound at all on the carpet. 

She arrived at her room, pressed her key card to the sensor, and 

the door clicked open. 

Harriet pushed the door open and entered. The lights in the 

room were on-she had left them that way before going out. 

Chapter 50 

She took off her high heels and changed into the disposable slippers provided by the hotel. After putting down the conch shell and just as she was about to rest, a tall figure suddenly 

walked out of the bathroom. 

Ellsworth? 

Why was he in her room? How did he get in? 

Staring at Ellsworth in surprise, Harriet asked, “How did you get 

in?” 

By the floor-to-ceiling window, hearing Harriet call him, Ellsworth 

looked up calmly, his expression unruffled, as if nothing was 

out of the ordinary. 

He glanced at Harriet, continued to towel his hair, and ignored 

her, not saying a word. 

Ellsworth’s indifference left Harriet puzzled. She asked, “Is this 

your room?” 

Ellsworth, with his back to her, didn’t respond, making Harriet 

feel awkward. 

Her toes curled inside her slippers. Seeing that he was ignoring 

her just like before, Harriet explained, “My key card opened the 

door, so I thought this was my room.” 

Ellsworth still ignored her, so Harriet added, “When I came over this afternoon, the staff also put my luggage here.” 

At that moment, Ellsworth tossed aside the towel, ran his 

fingers through his hair, turned to look at her, and asked, “You 

came over this afternoon?” 

Standing not far from the door, Harriet replied gently, “Yes, I 

arrived a little after four.” 

Then she said to Ellsworth, “Maybe the organizers made a 

mistake. I’ll go get another room.” 

Although he had been coming home every day recently, this 

was a business trip. 

He probably wanted to be alone with Kelsey, not accidentally 

end up sharing a room with her. What if Kelsey came looking for 

him later? 

That would only make things even more awkward for her. 

She might as well vacate the room for them as soon as 

possible. 

Chapter 50 

As she spoke, Harriet walked over to the coffee table, set her suitcase on the floor and opened it, packed away the clothes 

she had taken out earlier, and turned to put the pretty conch 

shell into the suitcase as well.
