Ellsworth had rarely admitted fault since childhood, but seeing 

him so deflated now, Raymond couldn’t even be bothered to 

scold him. He just ordered, “Then hurry up and make things 

right, and live your life properly from now on.” 

Then Raymond added, “But if Hara really doesn’t want to be 

with you, don’t force her. Don’t make her suffer.” 

He continued, “These past three years, you’ve let her down. 

When the time comes, make sure you give her everything she’s 

owed–not a penny less. If you try to play any tricks, I’ll skin you 

alive.” 

Hearing Raymond’s last few words, Ellsworth gave a helpless 

smile and said, “I know.” 

Now, no one believed in him and Harriet anymore. 

Harriet’s resignation letter had been signed by his father, and 

even Raymond was now advising her to leave. 

Ellsworth reached into his pocket for a cigarette and lighter, but remembering he was in a hospital, he put them back.

her new home. 

The home theater Kathie had ordered for Harriet was being 

delivered that day. 

Seeing her home become more and more complete, Harriet felt 

a warm rush inside, already eager to start her single life. 

With her arm draped over Harriet’s shoulder, Kathie raised an 

eyebrow and said, “Ms. Chavez, what do you think? Not bad, 

right?” 

Harriet grinned and gave her a thumbs–up. “Kat has the best 

taste.” 

Kathie replied, “Of course. You think everyone is like you?” 

Harriet bumped Kathie with her hip and said, “No making digs at 

me.” 

As soon as Harriet finished speaking, the doorbell rang–their

They still sat on the floor, eating under the air conditioner, but 

this time they had a TV to watch. 

While eating, Kathie said the furniture would be delivered on 

Wednesday and that she’d come over to supervise. She also 

mentioned having someone come to test for formaldehyde, so 

Harriet could move in soon. 

Sitting on the floor with her meal in hand, looking at her own 

place, Harriet felt quite emotional. 

After lunch, the two of them went shopping for home 

decorations and little trinkets. 

They kept busy until after dinner, when Harriet finally returned · 

to Auburn Heights. 

Life returned to its usual rhythm.

the others, Harriet was about to head to the lab when Reginald 

called her into his office.

Harriet knocked and entered, and Reginald invited her to sit. 

After Harriet sat down across from his desk, Reginald handed 

her an invitation and said, “There’s a high–tech forum in the city 

on Friday. You and Grayson should attend together.” 

He then handed her a sticky note and said, “Also, we’ve sent a few of your latest test products to users for feedback. One of them went to Vicente–this is his phone number. Contact him 

later and explain how to use it.” 

“As for the other products, you and Jonas can divide up the follow–up work. Remember to collect everyone’s feedback for 

future improvements.” 

Taking the note that Reginald handed her, Harriet said, “Alright, 

Mr. Barton, I’ll discuss it with Mr. Zuniga later.” 

As Harriet spoke, Reginald gave her a few more instructions, 

and then Harriet went downstairs to find Jonas. 

The two of them discussed the list, and Jonas assigned Ellsworth, Vicente, and a seventy–year–old lady named Olivia to Harriet, while he took responsibility for the other three users, 

and two more were given to another team leader. 

Returning to the office with the user profiles she was

responsible for, Harriet first called Olivia. 

Olivia said she had received the product yesterday, and that her grandson had helped her fiddle with it all evening, but when she woke up in the morning, she had already forgotten some of the 

functions. 

Since Olivia was elderly and the home robot was cutting–edge 

technology, Harriet arranged to visit her in the afternoon to 

teach her how to use it. 

Olivia kept agreeing enthusiastically and praised Harriet for 

being so considerate. 

Sitting at her desk, Harriet hung up the phone with a smile, then 

used Al to create a set of easy–to–understand product 

instructions suitable for seniors. 

After finishing that, Harriet called Vicente. 

Soon, the call connected, and Vicente greeted her, “Hello.” 

Hearing his voice, Harriet quickly introduced herself, “Hello, Mr. 

Leach, this is Harriet from Galaxy Innovations.” 

On the other end, Vicente’s attitude softened as he listened to 

Harriet’s introduction, and he replied with a smile, “Ms. Chavez.”
