gaze and turned to go home.

gone to bed. 

Moving quietly up to the second floor, Harriet had just reached 

her bedroom door when Ellsworth came out of the master 

bedroom. 

Seeing Harriet return, he greeted her nonchalantly, “You’re 

back.” 

Harriet nodded in response, “Mm.”

was just as cool. Ellsworth looked down at her and asked, “Are you free next Saturday?”
