Chapter 24 – Relishing Moments 

Kira’s Pov 

“Fine,” Troy said. 

I grinned, “Go work on Nadia first, we’ll see Lily soon.” 

Troy left and I relaxed on the bed, a small smile playing on my lips. 

would slowly inflict all the pain they inflicted on me and then I’ll take back everything they’ve

Damon nodded just then there was a knock on the door and Donald stumbled inside.

A smile found its way to my lips as I watched him leave. Then Donald started talking. 

I know I fucked up, Kira, but please forgive me. I know I’ve lost your company but we still have nine. After the project launches it’s going to be the biggest company in New York and we car nanage it together. Just come back to me and stop this charade with Damon,” he said. laughed, “I’m not a second choice, Donald.”

We both know you don’t have anything real with Damon; he’s just using you. No one would want to ever be with you after watching the real video of what happened to you in your house.”

Then I grabbed a bread knife that was on the tray of the fruits the nurse had brought for me earlier and pointed it at him. 

His face morphed into terror immediately as he attempted to get away from me. 

“What are you doing, Kira?” he asked, panicking. 

I twirled the knife and smirked, “I’m just thinking if castrating you will make the world a little less bleak. Or perhaps I should end up cutting out your tongue.” 

Donald’s eyes widened as he started begging me, “Please, Kira, have mercy. It’s just… I only
