She smirked, “Because I need to be close to that family for me to exact my revenge.”
Well maybe you shouldn’t have divorced your ex,” I pointed out.
Her face scrunched up in disgust, “If I had stayed in that marriage he would have killed me.”
gave her the document back, “I understand, Kira, but I can’t help you.”
She scoffed, “Are you so scared that you’d risk losing your shot at revenge? They destroyed you ind your mother!”
arched my brow, “What do you know about my mother, huh?”
I know that your father married your mom, stripped her of her wealth and company then cheated on her with Donald’s mother. When your mother found out he had another family outside they had a huge argument which resulted in your mother falling down the stairs. She didn’t survive, she died of a broken heart. That was ten years ago, when you were just sixteen.”
stared at her, my face filled with shock. This was the first time someone had recounted what had happened between my family in my presence.
My face hardened and I glared at her, “How do you know about this?”
‘I did my research, Damon, just like how I know you’ve been doing your research ever since you left home ten years ago, she answered.
“Okay, let’s say I decide to indulge in your revenge plans. What exactly do you want from me?” I
asked.
“I have evidence, Damon, everything that can take them down. I need your help to get close and also I need us to work together and bring them down,” she answered.
“You released videos and still no arrest has been made. That should tell you that none of them are people you trifle with,” I said.

nodded as I read the contents, “This is impressive but we both know he’s not going to stay in ail for long.”
Her eyes gleamed with that dangerous light again and she nodded.
I’m aware of that which is why he has to die before he can be released,” she said simply.
My eyes widened slightly, “Did you just admit to wanting to commit murder?”
She shrugged, “Someone can randomly kill him. He’ll be released soon because he has strong connections with the policemen.”
stood up, clearing my throat and adjusting my tie.
Let me get this right, you’re proposing to kill Henry in jail?” I asked her.
I want to deliver justice the same way they delivered justice to my parents,” she answered.
