The man put down the chair, nursing his injured wrist as he complained. Xu Shaochen chuckled, “Drinking too much and causing a scene? She didn’t break your vital organ; consider yourself lucky.” The man choked, not daring to argue with Xu Shaochen. Instead, he glared at Su Wei, his eyes full of malice.
Su Wei, with a calm face, was about to help Wu Xiaoxi leave when Fu Yan’an’s deep voice sounded. “Su Wei, what are you waiting for? Come here.”
Standing up for her
Su Wei hesitated, glancing at Fu Yan’an. Why did he call her name at this moment? It felt like he was backing her up, letting everyone present know that they were acquainted. They better think twice before causing trouble for her privately.
Swiftly suppressing these thoughts, Su Wei calmly assisted Wu Xiaoxi towards the exit. Due to being forced to drink, Wu Xiaoxi’s body felt weak, and her gaze had become hazy.
“Xiaoxi, are you okay?” Su Wei asked with concern as she supported her.

Startled, Su Wei glanced at Fu Yan’an, who was close by. Without much thought, she quickly positioned herself in front of him.
With a loud retching sound, Wu Xiaoxi vomited. Fu Yan’an frowned, observing Su Wei patting Wu Xiaoxi’s back and then pulling out tissues to wipe her mouth. Something flickered in his dark eyes.
If she hadn’t shielded him just now, Wu Xiaoxi’s vomit would have ended up on him.
“Xiaoxi, are you okay?” Su Wei asked with concern.
Wu Xiaoxi, her gaze unfocused, whispered, “Vivi, I’m… I’m fine.”
“Okay, let me take you out,” Su Wei said, guiding her towards the exit.
Fu Yan’an remained silent, and his lips parted. “Take my car.”
Take his car? Su Wei hesitated, seeing the man already striding ahead. She swallowed her words and followed. She didn’t have a car, and it was challenging to find a taxi during peak dining hours.
