Abandoned Me 10

Chapter 10

Until one day I got a call from my son’s teacher saying, Timmy had beaten a classmate in kindergarten.

I hurried over, but someone was one step ahead of me.

Nolthen had already helped to resolve this matter.

“Thank you.”

I held Timmy in my arms and politely thanked him.

When he saw me trying to distance myself from him, his eyes dimmed.

He clenched his fists, still smiling and said, “I don’t mean any harm. I just want to tell you that Timmy likes to keep things to himself. You, you guys should be more careful.”

He lowered his head, hiding the bitterness in his eyes.

A few strands of hair drooped from his forehead, making him look desolate and lonely.

I opened my lips, but said nothing in the end.

As soon as we got home, Timmy told me that his kindergarten classmates said their biological father was unknown and that someone had slandered him as Nolthen’s son.

I realized what happened between adults ultimately affected the children.

I brought this up with Ron that day.

Unexpectedly, he told me shocking news.

The parents of the children who humiliated Timmy in kindergarten were all investment targets Nolthen had previously courted. To atone for his sins, he reported them all.

“Don’t worry, I’ve also informed everyone about this matter. Those who spread rumors and caused trouble will be severely punished.”

My husband, wearing an apron, brought dishes out of the kitchen.

His busy figure under the dim light made me feel the beauty of a peaceful and tranquil life.

Later on….

Nolthen, through his unremitting efforts, finally re-established Eaton Corporation.

To celebrate the Eaton Corporation’s return to its former glory, he held a dinner party and invited our family.

Since he had shown so much kindness to Timmy, we finally agreed to attend.

At the venue hall, Timmy was clamoring to visit the Eaton Family’s back garden. I felt a bit dizzy so I asked Rong to accompany him.

Unexpectedly, a fire broke out in the hall. Nolthen rushed to my side, grabbed my hand and rushed downstairs.

By the time we reached the first floor, the fire was already raging, thick smoke billowing and the air was filled with the pungent smell of smoke.

“Oh no! My dad’s watch is still in the office!”

Nolthen wanted to go up to the second-floor office to get his watch, telling me to run out on my

own.

I quickly grabbed him.

“You’re crazy! The fire’s so intense! You’re going to die!”

I was choking on the black smoke, tears streaming down my face.

He wasn’t much better off.

The thick smoke blinded him, making it hard for him to open his eyes.

Running down the stairs, he nearly fell several times.

He froze for a moment, a look of sadness and loneliness crossing his features.

‘No, I have no family anymore. That watch is all I care about.”

He pushed me out and groped his way back inside.

suddenly remembered how he nearly drained all his blood for me when we were young. So I mmediately turned around and pulled him back.

Wait here, I’ll help you find it.”

A series of explosions accompanied it, sending debris and rubble flying everywhere.

Through the thick smoke, I successfully found his father’s watch in the office.

covered my mouth and nose, gasping for breath and rushed down the stairs.

But then I saw a scene I would never forget.

A beam fell from above Nolthen’s head.

Danger up there! Run!”

My pupils contracted and my brain went blank.

ran even harder, toward him. But he stood still, showing no sign of moving.

The beam crashed down above him, pinning him to the ground, motionless.
