Standing at the doorway was a tall man with an imposing presence–it was Gaston. 

Behind him stood several people who looked like assistants, each wearing an unfriendly expression. 

Gaston’s gaze was like a blade forged in ice, shooting straight at Sandria, his eyes filled with undisguised contempt and loathing. 

He had ordered a thorough investigation. 

Naturally, he had also found out that Sandria would be here today to discuss a partnership. 

In his eyes, this woman was relentlessly entangling herself with Florentino for revenge, even resorting to despicable means to get him arrested, and making Courty cry herself to sleep every night. 

A woman this vicious didn’t deserve such a good opportunity. 

Sandria frowned slightly, feeling rather baffled. 

She didn’t know this man at all, nor did she have any idea where his sudden hostility was coming from. 

Before she could say anything, Gaston strode over to her, looking down from above, his tone even more mocking. 

“Ms. Farley, quite the tactics you have. Clinging to your ex–husband on one hand, and seducing a new sponsor here on the other. What, Florentino can’t satisfy you anymore?” 

At these words, Zackary’s expression changed instantly. 

He was about to speak up in rebuke, but Sandria beat him to it. 

“Excuse me, sir, do we know each other?” 

Her voice was soft and alluring, with a hook in it, making Gaston’s body involuntarily stiffen for a moment. 

Sandria took half a step back, giving him a once–over from head to toe, her gaze as if appraising a commodity waiting to be sold. 

“But, you do look decent enough, and your figure isn’t bad. If you want to pursue me, it’s not out of the question.” 

She folded her arms and deliberately stepped closer. 

“But you’ll have to get in line. The men who want to be my sponsor could form a queue from here all the way to Lotroenia.” 

Since someone was insulting her for no reason, why should she be polite?

This woman actually dared to speak to him in such a lecturing tone. 

He was about to explode, but Zackary quickly stepped in front of him, wearing a professional but insincere smile, his words carrying an unmistakable warning. 

“Mr. Mosley, our partnership between Skyline Technologies and Ms. Farley is none of your concern. If you have any objections to our company’s decisions, you can take it up with our boss directly.” 

“Now please leave and do not disturb our contract signing.”

Gaston’s brows furrowed even tighter.
