As if he could spend the day with his beloved white moonlight, and at night, she–his disposable, ever–available ‘mosquito blood‘–should obediently wait for him in bed, all cleaned up.
Sandria narrowed her eyes slightly.
Then, those beautiful fox–like eyes suddenly curved into two bewitching crescent moons.
Her red lips curled up, her breath fragrant as orchids, but her words were sharper than knives.
“Oh?”
“Mr. Burnham, is this… sexual frustration? Did your precious Courty burn her oh–so–noble hands, so she can’t satisfy you in bed? Is that why you suddenly remembered your ever–available backup plan–me?”
She could clearly feel the man in front of her stiffen in an instant.
She watched as his handsome face darkened visibly, inch by inch, until it was as black as the bottom of a pot.
A wild sense of satisfaction surged through Sandria, spreading like vines throughout her entire being.
She laughed even more brightly, even more brazenly.
“Looks like tying you to the chair with a tie last time and giving you that little lesson wasn’t deep enough.”
“How about we relive it tonight?”
“But this time, I can’t guarantee you won’t end up with a few more ‘souvenirs‘ on your body.”
As soon as she finished speaking, all the allure in her eyes vanished, leaving only endless coldness and mockery.
With all her strength, she flung his hand away–hard!
That one motion used up all her strength, and with it, she cast away the last bit of ridiculous longing in her heart.
She turned and left with flair, not looking back, leaving him with a back that was both resolute and provocatively fiery.
Florentino stood frozen in place, the force of her rejection still lingering on his wrist, her humiliating words echoing in his ears.
Anger, embarrassment, and a trace of panic he himself hadn’t noticed made his chest heave violently.
Before, all it took was a few soft words from him and she would obediently lower her head. But now…
This woman really seemed to have lost control!

Sandria had just walked out of the examination room.
Courtney came out of the ward, her hand wrapped in thick gauze. Her small, palm–sized face was streaked with glis- tening tears, her eyes red like a frightened little rabbit, looking so pitiful that anyone would feel sorry for her.
The moment she saw Florentino, she hurried over to him in tiny, quick steps.
“Tino…”
She spoke in a soft, whimpering voice, still hoarse from crying, sounding both aggrieved and gentle.
“Please don’t blame Ms. Farley, it’s really all my fault. I was too careless, I lost my balance… It has nothing to do with Ms. Farley, please, don’t be angry.”
Her kind, understanding demeanor only fueled the nameless fire burning in Florentino’s heart.
Suddenly, he thought of Sandria’s cold indifference.
He pressed his lips together and spoke.
“You’re just too kind.”
“That woman actually dared to hurt you like this! This isn’t over! I’ll make her come back, kneel before you, and apol- ogize in person!“.

She really was spoiled and arrogant. It seemed he had indulged her too much, letting her forget her place.
It was time to find an opportunity to teach her a real lesson–with thunderous means if necessary!
She needed to be made to understand, once and for all, who her master was, and who she would have to look up to and depend on for the rest of her life!
Sandria no longer cared about those two disgusting, nauseating lovebirds.
After having the doctor treat the gruesome wound on her arm again, she went straight back to her luxurious penthouse apartment in the city center.
After everything that happened today, she had finally torn off Courtney’s mask of hypocrisy.
She was no innocent, naive little white flower.
She was a carnivorous plant, every petal soaked in deadly poison!
Sandria actually found herself looking forward to something.
