Alpha Night 6

“Young people like to have fun, but don’t go overboard. You can leave,” he remarked, his face stern. Su Wei glanced at him, finding displeasure in his handsome features. Did she enjoy having fun? Maybe it was him who enjoyed playing!

Knocking interrupted them, and Liu Yin entered. She wore a fitted red dress that showcased her curves. Su Wei pursed her lips, glanced at her, and swiftly left.

Seeing Su Wei’s flushed appearance, Liu Yin felt a sense of caution. Was something going on between her and Fu Yan’an in the office?

“Mr. Fu,” Liu Yin greeted with a smile, trying to approach him. Fu Yan’an’s face grew colder.

“How did you know I was here?” he asked, taking out a cigarette.

“I asked Mr. Gao,” Liu Yin answered, sensing his unfavorable mood.

“Is there something?” Fu Yan’an moved to the window, his tone indifferent.

“There’s an event this weekend. Can Mr. Fu accompany me?” Liu Yin inched closer, her voice coquettish. Fu Yan’an frowned, returning to his desk.

“Let’s discuss it later; I might not have time.” He seemed less interested than the previous night.

“Mr. Fu…” Liu Yin began, but he cut her off, engrossed in his work.

“I still have work to do. If there’s nothing else, you can leave,” he said, indifferent.

“Mr. Fu, don’t overwork yourself. I’ll leave now.” Liu Yin felt a bit awkward.

Su Wei left the office, headed to the restroom, and splashed cold water on her face. Looking at her flushed reflection, she questioned her own excitement. He hadn’t recognized her; they were merely employer and employee.

After a brief restroom stop, Su Wei prepared to return to her workstation. Turning a corner, she unexpectedly collided with someone, causing a handbag to fall.

“Oops, watch where you’re going,” scolded Liu Yin, looking annoyed.

“Apologies,” Su Wei hurriedly said, helping her pick up the scattered items. When she noticed a jade pendant, she raised an eyebrow, holding it up.

Not everyone enjoys stallion

“This is yours?” she asked.

Liu Yin hesitated, then checked Su Wei’s name tag. “You’re the design assistant here?”

“Yes.” Su Wei returned the pendant, but Liu Yin, blocking her way, warned her about Fu Yan’an’s behavior.

Su Wei smiled calmly, “Miss Liu, not everyone enjoys stallion novels.” Liu Yin was left speechless as Su Wei continued on her way.

Mr. Fu treats Liu Yin differently

She mentioned Fu Yanan is a playboy? Liu Yin chuckled, observing Su Wei’s slender silhouette, her almond-shaped eyes gleaming. Memories of encountering a similar jade pendant flashed in her mind. No way, she needed someone to dig into Su Wei’s background!

Returning to her desk, Su Wei was approached by the intern, Wu Xiaoxi. “Sister Weiwei, why did Mr. Fu call you to his office alone? You have no idea how much envy and jealousy that’s stirred.” Su Wei felt a tad exasperated, “He just assigned some work tasks.” Mr. Fu’s vendetta against her was causing problems.

“Did you see the big star Liu Yin when you left?” Wu Xiaoxi asked in a hushed tone. “I did.” “Sister Weiwei, gossip has it that she was with Mr. Fu again the night before last. It seems Mr. Fu treats this Liu Yin quite differently.” The night before last? It was Su Wei who spent that night with Mr. Fu. Su Wei raised her almond eyes, pretending composure, “Haven’t they been together for a while? Alright, stop gossiping. Help me fetch a document from the filing room, please.”

“Sure.” Wu Xiaoxi got up, heading off to retrieve the document. A few minutes later, Wu Xiaoxi returned indignantly. “Sister Weiwei, I couldn’t get the document.” “Why not?” Su Wei stopped her work and looked at Wu Xiaoxi. “The filing room staff said I needed Director Xu’s approval to provide you with any documents. It was never required before. Isn’t this deliberately making things difficult for you?” Wu Xiaoxi complained.

Su Wei looked toward the supervisor’s office nearby, gaining some understanding. Xu Yi had always admired Senior Ding Kai. When she first arrived, Xu Yi considered her a rival. Now that Mr. Fu had entrusted her with the Jiangcheng Technology Center project, she probably viewed her even more unfavorably. Moreover, a staff member in the filing room was her relative…

Su Wei pursed her lips, rising to head to the filing room. Inside, two employees were playing with their phones. “I need a design document for a high-end building,” Su Wei said calmly. Xu Qingyu looked up, indifferently saying, “Su Wei, design documents are important files. I can only provide them if Director Xu approves.” Su Wei chuckled, “Do you want to quit your job?” Xu Qingyu was taken aback, “Su Wei, what do you mean?”

“If you don’t want to work here, you can leave.” Su Wei calmly replied. “Hey, Su Wei, you’re just a little assistant. What are you doing acting so bossy in front of me?” Xu Qingyu’s voice was sharp, attracting a crowd. Su Wei didn’t waste time arguing with her, turning to HR. “Li Jie, please recruit a new clerk. The filing room is short-staffed.” “Ah? There are three employees in the filing room now. Isn’t that enough?” HR, unaware of the

situation, honestly answered.
