Impersonate her
Liu Yin wore a disgruntled expression as she glanced around, adjusting her coat and taking brisk strides. The previous night, her agent took her out to dinner with several big names in the industry for a chance at a new role. Little did she know that halfway through the meal, her head would start spinning.
Upon regaining consciousness, she found herself on the director’s bed. Furious at the older man for taking advantage of her, she decided to swallow her pride for the sake of securing the lead role. The entertainment industry was filled with such occurrences, and to clinch the coveted female lead, she had to endure silently.

Emotions surged within Liu Yin, causing her to stagger and collide with the door of an adjacent private room. After a deep breath, she straightened herself, adjusted her clothes, and prepared to make a discreet exit. The door creaked open, revealing Fu Yan’an in a white bathrobe, his deep eyes reflecting a glint of coldness. Liu Yin couldn’t help feeling a mysterious sense of unease.
“Mr. Fu,” she stammered. Recent news had linked her romantically with Fu Yan’an, but she knew it was a concocted story by her manager for publicity.
“Was it you in my room last night?” Fu Yan’an asked, his gaze fixed on the fading red marks on her neck. She had left before he could stop her.
Liu Yin hesitated, looking at Fu Yan’an’s handsome face. Did he sleep with someone last night? Did he not
know who it was?
“Mr. Fu, I…” she began.
“Come inside,” Fu Yan’an interrupted. Liu Yin followed him into the room.
“Last night, you said you entered my room by mistake?” Fu Yan’an sat on the sofa, casting a softened look at Liu Yin. He remembered the beauty she displayed beneath him, and if she hadn’t played him, he owed her.
“Yes, I was supposed to go to another room for Director Liu’s audition, but I entered the wrong one,” Liu Yin explained, concealing her excitement.
“What compensation do you want?” Fu Yan’an asked, acknowledging the debt owed.
Liu Yin glanced at him, moving her lips, “No need, Mr. Fu. We’re both adults; I won’t hold it against you.”
Fu Yan’an, one of the top elites in Jiangcheng, assured her, “As a top artist at Starlight Media, I’ll ensure you receive the best resources and elevate you to an A-list artist within a year.”
Grateful, Liu Yin thanked him. “Thank you, Mr. Fu.”
“Go on,” Fu Yan’an dismissed her, impressed by her composed demeanor.
Impersonate her
As Liu Yin turned to leave, Fu Yan’an stopped her. “Wait.” He picked up a beautifully crafted jade pendant from the floor beside the bed.
rear-ended
Liu Yin accepted the jade pendant from Fu Yan’an, her eyes gleaming, “It’s mine.” The pendant must belong to the girl who was in the room last night. Who could she be? Hmm, why does this pendant look familiar? Where have I seen it before?
“Do you have any other business? If not, please leave,” the man’s deep voice interrupted her thoughts. Liu Yin quickly put away the jade pendant, giving Fu Yan’an a gentle look before briskly walking out of the room.
After she left, Fu Yan’an’s assistant, Gao Fan, entered. “Mr. Fu, are you okay?”
Fu Yan’an sat on the sofa, rubbing his temples with a headache. “Find out who tampered with my drink last night.”
“We found out. It was Mr. Wang who, upon hearing rumors about your preference for beauty, added something to your drink to make you agree to his request.”
Gao Fan reported truthfully, internally criticizing the CEO for constantly indulging in gossip. It nearly backfired this time.
“Make Wang Zhenxing leave Jiangcheng, and I don’t want to see him again,” Fu Yan’an’s eyes flashed with a hint of ruthlessness.
“Yes.”
Su Wei returned home, charged her dead phone, and filled the bathtub with warm water to relax. Closing her eyes, she could still hear the urgent sound of a man’s breath and feel the scorching kisses one after another. Su Wei submerged her head in the water, concealing her embarrassment.
Once she regained composure and stepped out of the bathroom, she realized her pendant was missing. It was a personal item she had worn around her neck since childhood. It must have fallen off in the club’s room during the struggle. Su Wei sighed in regret, muttering curses at Fu Yan’an in her heart.
Grabbing her charged phone, she discovered several missed calls and messages from Ye Nuannuan. She quickly returned the call.
“What did you say? You and Fu Yan’an last night!”
Undoubtedly, after receiving her call, Ye Nuannuan’s surprised voice was elevated. Su Wei held the phone
a bit farther away, giving her time to absorb the information.
“Alright, don’t be so surprised. As you said, it’s a waste not to experience a man after getting divorced. So, I tried it out,” Su Wei explained.

Su Wei hesitated, “Well, it’s okay. I won’t tell you more. I’ll hang up first.”
Fu Yan’an is a man of indulgence; would his skills be lacking? Su Wei patted her flushed cheek, avoiding thoughts of inappropriate images. After breakfast, she surveyed her empty house and decided to visit the flower and plant market on her day off, planning to buy some greenery to decorate her home.
Driving cautiously to the market south of the city, Su Wei, who had recently obtained her driver’s license, navigated carefully. As she turned a corner onto a less crowded street, her car was suddenly rear-ended.
She quickly hit the brakes, and due to inertia, her body slammed into the steering wheel. What’s going on? Does the person behind not know how to drive? Su Wei, rubbing her aching chest, stabilized her emotions, opened the car door, and inspected the situation. The rear of her car had a sizable dent.
This was her newly purchased car! Su Wei felt frustrated as she looked at the culprit behind her. At this moment, the driver behind her was still sitting in the car, unperturbed.
