I was about to get into my car to leave when my phone started ringing.

“Last night, I was watching Khalid like you asked me to. One of his bodyguards spotted me, and the bastard alerted his colleagues. They ambushed me, and several of them came at me.”
Iclench my fists. I resist the urge to throw my phone on the ground.
While I was sleeping in his daughter’s bed, Aymen was making sure Khalid wouldn’t come and disturb me. And he got hurt because of me
“Where are you? I come get you.”
“Don’t worry, it’s just superficial injunes. I’m in better shape than they are. Don’t do anything stupid, you know very well how quickly you can lose control
“Tell me where you are, Aymen!”
He sighs. He knows I’m not going to let this go
“I managed to drive back to the villa. I’m so pissed I got caught during the stakeout.”
“Who cares! The most important thing is that you’re okay!”
“Don’t do anything stupid to get revenge, Alexander,”
I don’t answer and hang up. I head back toward the main entrance of Khalid’s villa.
He made a huge mistake by going after Aymen. He’s not just one of my men–he’s my brother. I won’t tolerate anyone laying a hand on my people
I reach the main entrance when I come face to face with inara.
She’s dressed in black with a pair of boots. She’s clutching the bag I gave her with the weapons inside.
She raises her eyebrows when she sees me, while shoot her a scornful look

I grab her arm firmly, pulling her close and glaring at her.
“You’re going to shut your damn mouth! I’ve got something to say to the bitch you call a father. Move right now if you don’t want me to shattac
you into pieces!”
She furrows her brows and tries to break free from my grip.
“You want to call your goons? Go ahead, call them so we can laugh!”

I dropped the bag with the weapons to the ground with my free hand.
What the hell is wrong with him? We just parted on good terms! What happened in such a short time to make him this worked up?
He’s looking at me with hate, and more importantly, he’s gripping my arm tightly. One wrong move and he could break it,

I try to punch him, but he catches my fist mid–air. He holds it without using force
“I’d advise you not to touch me if you don’t want me to break your pretty little hand”
His voice is as hard as his gaze.

I look at him in confusion. He nonchalantly release his grip on my arm.
“I didn’t know. If he did it, it’s because he had his reasons. You should leave before you get yourself into trouble.”
I don’t know why I’m trying to give him advice or protect him. I mostly want to prevent a copfrontation between him and Khalid; it coul
bloodbath.

Hakim has his gun pointed at Alexander.
Alexander doesn’t seem impressed by their presence; he looks at them with disdain. Khalid, on the other hand, has an amused smile.
“You were looking for me, Alexander?”
“Listen, Khalid…”I try to de–escalate the situation,
He gestures with his hand to silence me.
“Stay out of this. It’s between him and me
If that’s the case,
then what’s Hakim doing with a loaded weapon, ready to fire?
Khalid steps around me to stand in front of Alexander, who doesn’t flinch.
“Can I know why you’re shouting in front of my home at this hour?” Khalid asks.
“You know exactly why I’m here! Your men went after my right hand man last night!”
Khalid smirks.
“Do you have proof of what you’re saying? If my men touched your right-hand man, he deserved it”
Alexander lets out a nervous laugh.
“I forbid you from touching my people. You of all people should know I have no limits.”
“I won’t let you disrespect me on my property.”
“What exactly are you going to do? Bring all your guard dogs? I forgot, your lapdog with the gun is standing right here! Too bad a gun doesn’t give a man balls!”
It’s the first time I’ve witnessed something like this. Everyone who ever disrespected Khalid is dead and buried.
