His parents demanded that he return to inherit the family business. 

Reed was very troubled and reluctant. He found Evelyn and asked her, “Do you want me to leave?”

In a cozy room. 

Reed, who was originally fast asleep, suddenly woke up and sat up abruptly, letting out a shout, “No!” 

Evelyn woke up to the sound, turned on the light, and saw Reed’s pale face, panting heavily, with large beads of cold sweat running down his temples, and fear still evident in his eyes. 

Evelyn hugged him tenderly and comforted, “It’s okay, it’s okay, you had a nightmare, it’s okay…” 

The warm breath in his arms brought Reed back to his senses. He broke free from the embrace and couldn’t stop touching Evelyn, confirming her presence.. 

The constant murmuring from the mouth, “It was hot, it was hot.” 

Then he continued to hold her in his arms and gently kissed her neck one by one. 

Evelyn patted his back, and asked softly, “What’s wrong?” 

Reed tightened his grip, recalling the scene from his dream, and felt a wave of fear afterwards. 

“I dreamt… you married Martin.” 

“He treated you badly, not only misunderstood you, but also left you alone in the hospital.” 

“And then, you…” Reed paused, and then Evelyn felt a damp liquid on her neck. 

Reed, unexpectedly, cried. 

Realizing this, Evelyn couldn’t help but feel a pang of pain in her heart, and she silently held Reed 

tightly. 

“It’s okay, dreams are always the opposite.” 

Reed nodded his head buried in his neck, his voice hoarse, “Yes, dreams are always the opposite.” 

That dream was too real. 

Reed watched helplessly as Evelyn gradually lost her breath, her pupils dilating. 

He was helpless, staying in that space, wanting to save her. 

But his body went straight through her, he couldn’t touch her. 

I could only watch as the once beautiful face gradually became filled with lifelessness, as the pale skin spread little by little.

Reed’s heart felt as if it was being torn apart, the pain was unstoppable, so intense that it made him

The child stared at the passerby’s lollipop, drooling. 

The little girl looked about five years old, with fair and milky white skin. She had a round face and bangs, which made her look adorable and tempting to give a kiss. 

The little girl became scared as she watched the crowd grow denser. 

She glanced at a familiar man and ran towards him with her short little legs. 

“Uncle, I got lost. Can you help me find my mom?” 

Martin heard a sound and turned around to see a little girl tugging at his pants. 

He squatted down and touched her little head, asking, “Did you get lost? Do you remember Mom’s phone number?” 

“Remembered.” 

The little girl recited a series of familiar numbers. 

He hesitated for a moment and then made a call to the other party. 

There was an inexplicable sense of nervousness in my heart. 

There came an anxious voice from the other end of the phone, and he pursed his lips, saying, “Your daughter is with me.” 

“Don’t hurt my daughter…” 

Martin frowned, realizing that the sentence was ambiguous, and added, “No, your daughter got lost, we were…” 

I hung up the phone and waited for a while, then I saw a familiar figure running over.
