Chapter 25

Several big men looked at each other and there was no response.

The leader man smiled, and the scars on his face squeezed together, making him look even more terrifying.

Okay, call her over, the deep voice resonated, almost shaking the roof.

Evelyn had just arrived downstairs when she received a text message from her mother.

Evelyn, come over quickly, your younger brother is looking for you.‘

The dim blue light fell on her face, revealing the complexity hidden in her eyes.

She sighed, and the last bit of hope in her heart was shattered.

Family, for her, was a shackle.

From childhood to adulthood, Evelyn’s mother has always been biased.

She could only wear old clothes sent by relatives, while her younger brother could throw away

clothes every season.

Doing laundry, cooking, and cleaning are all small tasks, enduring them will pass.

But their appetite grew bigger and bigger, and they would demand millions of dollars for houses

and cars at the drop of a hat.

Under repeated compromises, she could only understand clearly-

Some children were born unloved.

She sat quietly for a while before slowly getting up.

As soon as I arrived at the doorstep, I could hear my mother’s voice, Brother, Evelyn, that bitch, is rich. As long as you go to her company and cause a scene, she will definitely pay you back. Please

release my son”

Evelyn immediately turned cold, she stomped heavily and walked in.

As soon as Evelyn’s mother saw the person, she stood up abruptly and cursed, You bitch, why did you come so late? Where have you been?”

Evelyn looked at her mother in front of her and felt her heart turn cold.

By this time, I still only thought about my younger brother.

How could one’s heart become like this?

When I was young, my family was not poor, but I could only wear old clothes, while my younger brother could change his clothes every season.

All the delicious and fun things had to be given to him.

When she got tired of playing, then I would give it to her, and these would be given to someone

else’s house in a few days.

Wasn’t she born after a tenmonth pregnancy?

In earlier years, she would feel sad and upset.

As time went by, she gradually began to suspect that she was not her biological child.

It seems that only this reason could make her feel a little better.

So, when she saw the parentchild test firmly displaying a 99% direct blood relationship, she

couldn’t help but feel ironic.

She no longer had any expectations and only hoped to completely sever ties.

Evelyn looked around and stared at her mother, saying, Mom, sell the house first to pay off the

debt.”

Evelyn’s mother instantly shouted, No, this is the wedding house for your younger brother. You

deal with the trouble you caused yourself.”

Evelyn felt a slight prick in her heart, her body froze for a moment, she closed her eyes and

remained silent.

Over the years, she has repaid what she owed.

Thinking, she opened her eyes and said firmly, This house is mine, let’s go transfer ownership

tomorrow.”

In the next moment, Evelyn’s mother let out a piercing cry, We’re going to die, we’re going to die!

I won’t allow it. Whoever wants this house, I’ll fight her to the death.”

After shouting, she slapped her thighs and was about to roll and throw a tantrum.

Evelyn frowned and turned her head away, unable to look directly.

The brave men were not afraid at all, and with just one roar, they subdued the people.

The leader man clicked his tongue and said maliciously, Big sister, you only want the house, right? Then, do you still want your daughter?”

Evelyn was taken aback and then looked at her mother.

Evelyn’s mother was also in a state of shock and timidly asked, What does it mean?”

I saw you arguing incessantly and it was annoying. I’ll give you two choices. Do you want the house or do you want your daughter? If you want the house, then cut off ties with her and from now on, just work for us. Whether you live or die, it’s none of your concern.”

If you want our daughter, give us the house and gather the remaining money quickly, otherwiseyou wouldn’t want to know the consequences.”

The leader finished speaking, and immediately, the man beside him smashed a vase.
