Chapter 1 

The night my brother was drugged with a love potion, his scorching breath seared the tips of my 

Cars. 

He gripped my waist tightly, his teeth brushing along the side of my neck. “Help me,” he 

murmured. 

My hands trembled as I began unbuttoning my shirt, but just as I looked up, I met a pair of tear–filled eyes outside the door. 

She was standing there–his first love. 

Three days later, they pulled a bride’s corpse from the city moat. 

There was an undeveloped fetus in her womb–supposed to be my brother’s child. 

On his wedding night, he loosened his tie and let out a cold laugh. 

“Happy now?” 

For the next thirty years, he gave me the highest honors of being his wife. 

We shared a bed, but he always turned his back to me. Not once did he touch even the tips of my 

fingers. 

I lived like a widow for thirty years, and waited until death. 

As I lay on my deathbed, his fingers brushed my cheek, but his voice was as cold as ice. 

“Our debt is settled.” 

“In the next life, don’t ever let me see you again.” 

As I drew my last breath and opened my eyes, I found myself back on that day. 

This time, I clutched my collar tightly. 

Before Daniel lost control, I shoved his first love into the room. 

“Hannah, help me…” 

Daniel Brown’s breath was hot against my ear, laced with desire. 

His hand burned like fire as it gripped my waist, pressing me hard against the door. 

“Hannah..

His voice quivered, and his teeth began to nibble gently at my earlobe. 

In my past life, this was when I made the worst mistake of all. 

Daniel was the child my parents had adopted. 

He had loved and protected me since we were little. 

Seeing my brother–who had cherished me like his own life–struggling in pain, I lost all reason 

and started unbuttoning my shirt. 

And then I looked up… only to meet Sophia Jones’s tear–filled eyes through the door. 

Three days later, she died in her wedding dress, two lives lost in one. 

Daniel had hated me ever since. 

I shoved him away. He staggered back, staring at me in stunned disbelief. 

“Brother, I’ll go get you some water.” 

I opened the door, and there she was–Sophia, standing just outside. 

In my last life, I had been unbelievably foolish, thinking she was some sweet, innocent girl. 

But if she were truly so innocent, why would she show up at exactly the right moment? 

“You got here just in time,” I said. 

“What do you mean?” Panic flickered across Sophia’s eyes, though she tried to hide it. 

I had no interest in playing games with her. I grabbed her by the arm and shoved her into the room. 

“Your first love is here. You two take care of it. 

Bang! I slammed the door shut. 

The next second, the door burst open from the inside with a violent kick. 

Daniel hadn’t touched her. 

Instead, he swung his fist back and smashed the wall mirror with a single punch. 

Glass shards immediately sliced through his arm, blood dripping everywhere. 

He had to rely on hurting himself–just to snap out of the lust. 

His eyes were bloodshot as he glared at me, filled with murderous rage, like he wanted to rip me

This was no longer the same Daniel from moments ago. 

“Hannah, how vicious can you be?!” 

“Sophia is carrying my child.” 

“You wanted to let her in there just so you could kill my baby?!” 

How did Daniel know? 

In my previous life, he hadn’t found out at this point! 

It felt like a bolt of lightning had struck me. 

A terrifying, absurd thought exploded in my mind- 

Did he come back too?
