Chapter 293Â
LILY’S POV♡Â
When I first entered the apartment, Rose was in shock of my new appearance and her first words were, “Are you trying to turn me into a lesbian? That was the first time I laughed so hard after finding out that I had a bun in the oven.Â
Noel, though, said that I was bangable. I didn’t take him seriously, especially as he was still naked like the day he was born. That dude seriously needed to learn about covering up.Â
When they first heard about the pregnancy, they both were in utter shock, looking back and forth at my covered belly and my face.Â
I remember squirming and feeling uncomfortable as I waited for them to at least say a word. Maybe tell me how disappointed they were in me for being reckless but what came after surprised the heck out me. They had brought me into a warm hug as Rose rubbed my belly soothingly, muttering that they’ll be here for me. Noel had his ear on my little bump, asking why he couldn’t hear the baby. At that point, Rose and I looked at him like he had mental issues. He probably had.Â
My heart warmed at their affection and I couldn’t ask for better ends. Well they were more like family, and I was thankful that I met Rose that day when I was a freshman in school.Â
I had just left the supermarket and was on my back to the dorm when I knocked into her. We both were busy looking down at our phones to see eachother approaching. We had laughed it out, talked for a while and had instantly clicked.Â
We spent time together until she brought me to her apartment where I had met her brother. Noel made quite the first impression when I had caught him naked and eating a box of cereal. Rose was equally as embarrassed as me that day, but I got along with him pretty quickly and he became one of my close friends as well.Â
After telling Rose and Noel about my predicament, I decided to stay over. Even though they supported me, they were a little upset with me for deciding to keep this from Asher. They didn’t think it was right.Â
I had woken up earlier than expected but that was because I needed to vomit. After I had spilled my guts out, I had noticed that I had woken up Rose, who was sleeping beside me when I had jumped out the bed and ran to the bathroom.Â
She was beside me, rubbing my back soothingly as I had wrenched in the already vomit filled toilet. Morning sickness wasn’t a great feeling.Â
When I was done, I decided to take a shower because I felt icky and smelled of vomit. Rose was kind enough to give me a towel and asked her brother to lend ‘me one of his huge hoodies to wear for school today. I didn’t want anything to show off my little bump, so I settled for wearing a hoodie. It’s the first day back after the break and I wasn’t looking forward to it. I would try to avoid Asher as much as possible.Â
He did come over last night to ask for my whereabouts but I told her to say I wasn’t there and she hadn’t seen me. She felt guilty after seeing his dejected expression and had not talked to me for a few minutes because I forced her to tell Asher those words.Â
Today was only lectures so I didn’t have to go back to the dorm to get my books, because I didn’t need them. I had pinned my hair away from my face and had pulled on a pair of Rose’s skinny jeans, along with Noel’s hoodie.Â
The dark blue jeans fit me snugly and were a little bit tight in the hip area, but it was the only thing that fitted me at the moment. All her other pants were too tight and I barely could pull them up to my thigh area.Â
Noel’s light green hoodie, though, was big enough to cover my tiny bump and even though it was not that noticeable, it still made me feel self conscious I slipped my sneakers on and after telling them bye, I walked to the school.Â
The chilly morning air hit my face softly as I entered the school. I stopped dead in my tracks as all eyes were on me. They blocked the passing area and looked around. I started walking slowly when they parted ways to make me pass. A sickening feeling settled in the pit of my stomach as Sonia, Shelly a Rebecca stood in the middle of the way.Â
They were smiling too sweetly for my liking and I came to a halt when Shelly stepped forward to block my way. Everyone’s attention was solely on th four of us.Â

Chapter 293Â
“A little birdie told us that our little slut is expecting.” I heard the hostility in her voice. She walked up to me and touched a strand of my hand I sucked in a sharp breath at her words. What does she mean? She twirled the short tresses in her hand and brushed it away like it disgusted her. “And look, she gave herself a mom’s hair cut.” She seethed. Sonia and Rebecca laughed in the back.Â
It finally settled in. They knew I was pregnant. But how could she know?Â
My question was answered when Sonia stepped forward and dropped one of my tests in front of me. “You didn’t even hide it properly, idiot! She » smirked nastily.Â
My eyes burned as they moistened with tears. I looked at the test on the tiled floor and let out a sob. Why did they have to do this in front of everyone?! cupped my stomach as a shield, in a way to protect it and stepped back from Shelly.Â
Her eyes fell to my stomach and her features turned to resentment. Her lips turned into a snarl as she glared at my hand that was protecting my bumpÂ
“Who, in their right mind, had the guts to even sleep with you and even impregnate someone like you?” She boomed. Everyone laughed at her words as they made a mockery out of me. I stood still, my feet felt like they were glued to the floor. But then, everywhere became silent and I looked at who had scared them enough to stop them from laughing.”Â
My body froze as I saw Asher looking at the test that was on the led floor. He walked towards us and picked it up slowly and examined it. He lifted his head up to give all of them an icy glare. It was as if he was ignoring me and it hurt, even though I was being a hypocrite. He clenched the test in a hard grip as he faced Shelly.Â
“If you must know, I’m the one who got her pregnant.” He said, loud enough for everyone to hear.Â
They let out a shocked gasp as they whispered amongst each other and looked at Asher and I. Shelly glared at us, both with hatred. Sonia, though, locked shocked and stepped back at his words.Â
“Why don’t every single one of you leave my girl alone and go and do something productive in your pathetic lives?” He hissed and glared at the pryingÂ
eyes.Â
Everyone scattered except Shelly, who stayed back to glare at Asher and I. Her friends were nowhere to be seen and left a fuming Shelly.Â
“You actually got that girl pregnant, Asher?” Disdain dripped from her voice.Â
He shrugged. “What can I say, she was too good to pull out.”Â
Shelly’s eyes widened before she gave us one last glare and stomped off. Asher’s back was still so tense when he turned to face me. His free hand reached out to cup around my small hand that was placed on my stomach.Â
He finally looked at me. “That’s our baby in there?” He asked, astonished.Â
