Chapter 280 

LILY’S POV♡ 

I walked out of the school as quickly as possible and spotted Niall by his car. Running up to him I nearly tripped on a stone making some linguag students laugh at my expense. Childish mother fuckers I thought, as I made my embarrassing walk to Niall who lifted an eyebrow at my prece 

“You look like you just got banged!” He teased as he glanced at my state. 

“What, no I don’t?” I said, well more like I asked uncertainly, as I passed my hand through my unruly hair. I felt the disheveled strands as my finger tugged 

at some knots. 

Niall chuckled “Your hair is a mess and your shirt is inside out.” He pointed out. My hand automatically went to my shirt as I tugged it and looked around at the prying eyes of the other students. 

“Oh shit!” I muttered once I realized that indeed it was inside out. Gosh this is embarrassing. I pulled down my skirt suddenly feeling self conscious and pulled my shirt higher as I saw a little bit of my boobs peeking out. 

“You also have a lot of love bites.” He pointed out again louder than needed, making me give him a lethal look. If looks could kill he would have been dead right now. Maybe I can arrange that. 

“Shut up, don’t point it out!” I hissed. I’m gonna kill Asher. 

Niall suddenly looked at something or should I say someone behind me before looking back at me briefly “Looks like someone is looking for you.” He said hastily. 

I looked around quickly before spotting Asher’s broad figure approaching, he looked furious. I looked back at Niall and panicked. 

“Can you give me a ride?” I rushed out, already opening the passenger door. I don’t want to talk to Asher right now, he looks like he could spank me right 

there. 

“Uh sure, come in!” He said sarcastically before chuckling at my desperate expression. 

“Lily!” I heard Asher’s booming voice yell in rage. I could see his fast approaching figure and my stomach clenched in nervousness. He was now running to reach the vehicle making me gulp in fear. I promptly put on the seat belt and closed the door,making sure to lock it before he tried to pull me out himself. I wouldn’t put it past him, the dude is capable of doing anything. 

“Oh shit, drive!” I yelled at Niall slamming my hand on the dashboard. He let out a snigger and started the car before dashing out of there. I let out a sigh of relief as I saw his disappearing figure. 

“Looks like you guys like it rough.” He suddenly jokes. He glanced at me quickly wiggling his eyebrows in mockery before looking back at the road. 

“Shut up, Niall.” I groaned, embarrassed, and blocked my face with my hands. I squirmed uncomfortably in my seat. Can’t the seat just swallow me 

whole? 

“Where should I drop you off?” He asked after an awkward moment of silence. I finally took my eyes away from the civilians who were strolling around freely. 

“My dorm room.” I answered. I stared at nothing in particular as my thoughts shifted to Asher. Why did he wait so long to talk to me… well more like seduce me and make me weak to his advances. My thoughts were interrupted by a clearing of a throat. 

“So, when are we going to meet the parents?” Niall asked, trying to make 

conversation. He glanced at me sideways waiting for my answ 

“I’m thinking about going tomorrow since school has closed today.” I told him uncertainly. I would have jumped up and down and celebrated for the break but just the thought of knowing that soon I’ll be meeting my dad and half sister had me in a foul mood. I was already regretting agreeing to even meet up with them. I’m just doing it for mom. 

“Yeah, that sounds good.” Niall nodded in agreement as he bobbed his head to whatever that was in his thoughts. Probably a song since he started humming the sound. I raised an eyebrow at his weirdness before shaking my head. Why do I have such weird friends? 

Chapter 280 

“Okay, well you’ll come pick me up around eight AM and we’ll leave then contined taking letting han know plenmesin early because I really didn’t want to stay any longer than necessary in Sonia’s presence. 

I let out a quiet groan as I thought of having to even be near her tonight. Too bad Hoel and dose are their place. They had to leave early since the drive is long, hopefully they would reach safely

“Sure, no problem.” Niall agreed and pulled the car over to stop at the dorm room building Tunbuckled the seatbelt and got ouk. 

“See you tomorrow.” I waved before closing the door softly. Niall smiled and let the glass down on the passenger side. 

“Can’t wait to meet the parents.” He winked and drove off leaving me to look at the disappearing car, i shook my head and tilted it up to look at the tat building. I didn’t exactly want to enter but I had no choice. With a sigh, I forced my feet to move. 

A few minutes after I was settled on my bed when I heard footsteps stop by my door. It couldn’t have been Sonia because she would have unlocked the door right now since she does have a key. 

My eyebrows knitted in confusion as I waited for the person to do something. They didn’t disappoint when they started knocking. I got up and headed to 

the door. 

“Who is it?” I asked as I leaned on the door, waiting for the person to answer. My breath hitched as I heard his hoarse voice. It was Asher and from the sound of his voice, it sounded like he just stopped crying. 

“Lily, please open the door.” He said desperately. 

I sighed “No, Asher, go home.” I didn’t want to have a repeat of earlier. It was embarrassing enough that I gave in to him easily. 

“Have you moved on with that asshat Niall?” He asked angrily. If I didn’t know any better he was jealous and that made me giddy. But I refrained myself from giving into him easily. 

“If I did, I wouldn’t have slept with you earlier.” I answered, annoyed that he would even think I could move on from him so quickly. I’ll admit I did try to see Niall as something more than friends but the thought grossed me out to think of other boys that weren’t Asher in that way. 

“I’m sorry Lil, it’s just that I can’t imagine you with anyone else but me.” He whispered in a broken voice. His words left me speechless and I struggled to compose myself. 

“Please, just give me another chance.” He said after a while of me not responding. 

“I have given you plenty, you need to work harder this time, I’m not forgiving you that easily.” I told him but it felt like I was reminding myself that. 

“I know I have to, and I’m willing to do anything possible to gain back your heart. I’m never letting you go ever again.” He said in a determined voice. Who said you ever lost it? 

“Asher, please go home. Sonia could arrive here any minute now and I don’t want her to see you here, I don’t want drama right now.” I said as I looked at the clock on my nightstand. I didn’t want Sonia to see Asher here, who knows what that she–devil would tell everyone. 

“Okay baby, just please don’t give up on me. I love you, Lily.” He said and walked away before I could respond. I heard his retreating footsteps before l whispered “I love you too, Asher” for my ears only. I sighed before going back to bed.
