Yvette and Owen secretly teamed up to specifically target Aurelia. 

Although Aurelia’s teammates were top–ranked players, they prioritized early–game gold, leaving her to be killed four times by Owen’s team in under three minutes. 

Furious, she lashed out at Parker. “I’ve been ganked four times in a row! Are you blind?” 

“I’ll come to protect you as soon as I finish the Lord,” Parker reassured. 

Just as the Lord’s health dropped to its last sliver, Valerie rolled her stroller out of the bushes and 

threw a skill at the Lord. Just like that, the Lord switched sides. 

“Nice one, Valerie!” Yvette burst out laughing. 

“Useless trash!” Aurelia exploded. 

Parker didn’t dare to yell back at her, so he turned his frustration on Valerie. How dare a support steal the Lord from his jungler Yao? 

He tried to chase Valerie down in the game, but Owen and his teammates arrived in time to counter- 

kill him instead. 

Frustrated and forced to protect Aurelia, Parker gave the two carries, Owen and Yvette, the perfect 

chance to farm. 

Within ten minutes into the game, Owen’s Xuance was over 2,000 gold ahead of his opponents and killed the enemy squishies in a single combo. 

Valerie’s Cai Yan roamed and constantly rotated between the jungler and marksman roles. While her damage was low, her presence kept the team alive and the map visible. 

During team fights, she healed her teammates at just the right moments and minimized their losses. 

The two friends Owen invited were thoroughly impressed and typed in the game chat. “Our support has really great game sense! Let’s add each other and play together sometime.” 

“Just helping a friend. I don’t usually play,” Valerie replied. 

As the team’s carry, Aurelia was either being ganked or on her way to being ganked. Although her teammates had decent gold, their team’s fight damage couldn’t match the enemy’s. 

Plus, Valerie’s perfectly timed heals kept turning the tide and leaving Aurelia’s team at a disadvantage from the start. 

At Parker’s suggestion, they switched to a more cautious strategy by grouping in five, hiding in bushes, and picking off enemies one by one. 

Owen and Yvette shared a weakness–they were too aggressive and always went all–in during team fights.

Soon, Owen’s team lost their advantage. In one team fight, he, Yvette, and their two teammates were wiped out. Aurelia’s team had three players left–a support Ming, a mage Wang Zhaojun, and a fighter Arthur. 

“Only a support left on their side! Let’s push and take their crystal!” Aurelia shouted. 

Even Yvette and Owen realized they would likely lose the game, so Yvette gave Valerie instructions.”

Although having Cai Yan defend the base didn’t make sense, it was better than nothing. 

Just as the three remaining enemies advanced toward the crystal, the system announced, “Cai Yan has slain the Lord!” 

Everyone was stunned. How had a support managed to kill the Lord? 

“What just happened?” Yvette blinked. 

“No way. Did Cai Yan just solo it?” one of Owen’s friends exclaimed. 

“Our support’s a legend!” the other friend cheered. 

When Owen tapped on the game screen, he saw that Cai Yan had swapped her support items for attack items and was pushing straight to the enemy’s base. With three against one, Cai Yan stood 

almost no chance. 

“Fall back, Valerie! We can’t win this!” Yvette panicked. 

On Aurelia’s side, Arthur and Ming went to the back door and left Wang Zhaojun to defend. The Lord that Valerie had summoned surged down all three lanes and temporarily stalled the enemy’s advance for the crystal. 

Ignoring her teammate’s calls, Valerie’s attacks had turned immensely brutal now that she was equipped with attack items.
