Chapter 177 Raine’s Mad 

Fergus was in disbelief after he was told that Nancy wouldn’t see him. 

What was she thinking? He was her biological brother! 

“Let me up there! She’s just throwing a tantrum. I’m her brother!” Fergus said loudly. 

The receptionist replied, “Sorry, even if you’re her father, you still can’t go up without Ms. Moore’s approval.” 

Fergus tried to rush toward the elevator, but the security stopped him short. 

“Sir, if you try to force your way up again, we’ll have to call the police!” the security guard said bluntly. 

Fergus gritted his teeth. 

Damn it. If he couldn’t go up, he’d wait for Nancy to come down. 

He stood waiting outside the company. 

Later, Fergus immediately blocked her path when he saw her. “Nancy,” he called, forcing a smile. 

Nancy glanced at him indifferently. “What do you want?” 

“Nancy, I admit I was a bit too much before, but it’s only because I care. In my heart, you’re the only real sister I have. This is a gift I got for you.” He pulled out a gift. “Look, it’s a Bulgari necklace. I spent over 200 thousand dollars on it!” 

Nancy replied, “Since it’s so expensive, you should keep it. I don’t want it.” 

He became anxious. “Nancy, we’re siblings. Can’t you stop being so cold toward me? I promise I’ll treat you like a real sister from now on.” 

He looked so sincere that she found it amusing. 

“Let me guess what’s with the sudden shift,” she said. “After realizing at my birthday banquet that I’m close to Ms. Hawthorne and have some influential connections, you must be thinking about how to use them to your advantage.” 

After getting exposed, Fergus grew awkward, but still kept up the sincere expression. “Nancy, it’s not like that. After what happened yesterday, I realized I’ve been neglecting you. I really want to make it up to you.” 

“Okay, if you want to make it up to me, what about Raine?” she asked. 

“She…” He hesitated. “She’s just an outsider.” 

 

“Interesting.” She chuckled lightly. “I remember that your pinned post on Instagram is still about Raine, though. There are a lot of other posts about her, too. Delete all of them, and then tell everyone she isn’t your real sister. Then you can come back to me.” 

His expression shifted slightly, but before he could say anything, she had already turned and left. 

From a nearby corner, Raine had witnessed everything. She hadn’t expected Fergus to really beg 

Nancy. 

Had he come to suck up to her just because he found out that Nancy knew Yelena? He had clearly said she was his only sister. Obviously, men’s words were nothing but bullshit! 

Resentment turned her vision red. 

Every single one of the Liddells was a bigger brown-noser than the next. Had they forgotten that she held the key to Martha’s life and death? Once she became the heir of Lidell Group, she’d throw them all out, and Lidell Group would be hers alone! 

One week later, Natalie’s and Hillary’s crews wrapped up filming at almost the same time. 

Nancy picked a perfect launch date for Hillary and the others. But as soon as they announced it, Natalie quickly followed suit, setting her launch on the same day, even at the same hour! 

It was obvious to anyone with a discerning eye that it was deliberate. 

The two shows had a huge gap in pre-registrations. 

Natalie’s show subscription racked up over a million sign-ups in no time, while Hillary’s barely reached a few hundred thousand. 

The massive difference led to Hillary being mocked once again.
