Chapter 100 She Is Not Yours
“Sorry, I don’t have a pen with me.” Harry only brought the document. He didn’t think of bringing a pen along.
Catherine turned around and entered the house. Jeremy went with her.
Harry also wanted to enter the house, but Jeremy stopped him at the door. “You’re not welcome here. Wait outside.”
Harry’s face darkened. His gloomy face made him appear haggard compared to Jeremy’s lively
complexion.
“Your words have no power here.” Harry looked upset.
Jeremy smiled. “I know Cathy wouldn’t want you inside, so I can’t let you in. Signing a paper doesn’t take much time. You don’t need to go in.”
After he finished his words, Catherine walked out of the house. She threw the document at Harry.
“I’ve signed the agreement, so you can leave now. Never show up here again.”
The sharp edge of the document cut Harry’s cheek. The papers were scattered all over the floor.
Catherine turned around and said to Jeremy gently, “Come on in.”
Jeremy followed Catherine and waved at Harry with a triumphant smile. The door slammed in Harry’s face. He was left standing amidst the scattered papers on the floor.
Harry stared at the closed door and felt his heart clench. He found it hard to breathe. His eyes twitched as he crouched down to pick up the papers on the floor.
Catherine’s signature was scrawled on the papers. He should feel better after seeing Catherine sign the agreement, but now he felt terrible.
Outside the door, he couldn’t tell what would happen inside. But the thought of Catherine happily chatting with Jeremy felt like a stab to his heart. His breathing even picked up.
Harry stood at the door, unable to move until Jeremy walked out. Jeremy was surprised to see him.
He approached Harry and lit a cigarette for himself. “Let’s talk.”
Harry didn’t refuse. He followed Jeremy to his house upstairs.
Jeremy pulled out a bottle of wine and opened it before pouring Harry a glass. “Did you know that Cathy was in love with you for a long time?”
Harry’s hand trembled and spilled some wine.

Jeremy continued in a gentle tone, “Everyone could see it. But since you weren’t into her, it didn’t matter if you couldn’t.”
Harry’s grip on his glass tightened, but he remained silent.
Jeremy started talking about Catherine’s past. He said he had liked her for a decade, but he gave up on her when Catherine chose Harry.
“When I found out she married you, I was sad for a long time. But when I saw how happy she looked, I had no choice but to give you two my blessing.” Jeremy seemed a little emotional when he mentioned the past.
Harry lowered his head and stayed quiet.
Suddenly, Jeremy’s tone changed. “I thought I’d never stand a chance, so I’m pretty thankful that you gave her back to me, Harry.”
Harry immediately looked up and asked coldly, “Who said I let you have her?”
Jeremy understood the underlying meaning in his words. “I know you’re in a terrible mood, but you’ve been disqualified. Do you really think you’d still have the chance to be with Catherine?
“You might’ve stood a chance if she were still pregnant with your child, but the baby’s gone now.
Jeremy’s words were straightforward and cruel, cutting into Harry’s heart. Seeing Harry miserable
only brought joy to Jeremy.
