Harry called Rachel and begged her to pass the document to Catherine. However, Rachel didn’t want
to do it.
“Can’t you pass it to her yourself? Why are you asking me to do it? She’s your wife.”
“I did. Catherine refused to see me.” Harry was helpless.
Rachel said, “Can’t you find a way to make her see you? If you want to win Cathy back, break up with Michelle as a show of your sincerity.”
Harry was at a loss. “There’s nothing between me and Michelle. I was never her sugar daddy.”
“There’s no point in you telling me that. Tell Cathy instead. If you can’t win her back, I’ll disown you.
Rachel hung up on him. Harry looked at his phone and sighed. He had no choice but to wait outside Catherine’s house to see her.
Catherine’s footsteps halted when she saw him. After a moment’s hesitation, she ignored him and
slammed the door in his face.
Harry wasn’t given a chance to speak at all. He patiently walked to the door and knocked on it. ” Catherine, can we talk?”
Catherine ignored him. Finding him a nuisance, Catherine went to her room, where she wouldn’t hear Harry’s voice.
When Catherine wouldn’t respond to his knocking, Harry knew that she had no intention of coming out at all. He pulled out his phone and sent a message to Catherine.
However, his message didn’t go through. Catherine had deleted his number and blocked him.
This time, Catherine made sure that he couldn’t contact her. Harry’s heart clenched. It felt like someone was slicing up his heart.
Harry waited by the door. He just needed Catherine to accept the document. After waiting for a while, Harry heard the voice of someone he hated.
“You’re not welcome here. Leave.” Holding a lunchbox, Jeremy looked at Harry disapprovingly.
Seeing what Jeremy was holding, Harry couldn’t help but overthink. Catherine had been eating the meals Jeremy cooked, and they lived close to each other.
Given how vulnerable Catherine was at that moment, Jeremy could easily swoop in and make a move on her.

Harry said sternly, “I’m only here to give her a document. I’ll leave after she accepts it.‘
Jeremy scoffed and called Catherine. After a while, the door opened.
Catherine frowned when she saw Harry. “Why are you still here?”
Harry quickly spoke up. “I’m here to give you this document. I’ll leave after you sign it.

“I already made it clear to you. I don’t want anything from you. Leave, or I’ll call the police.”
Catherine remained firm on her decision. She wanted to cut all ties with Harry and go back to being strangers for the rest of their lives.
Harry’s tone was submissive. “Just sign it, please. I’ll leave after you do. I won’t take up too much of your time.”
Seeing that they were at a stalemate, Jeremy snatched the document from Harry and passed it to
Catherine.
“Why don’t you accept his gift? It’s supposed to be yours, to begin with. Don’t hold back, because it’s what he owes you!”
Catherine looked at the asset transfer agreement. Jeremy’s words had convinced her.
She was working on several other drugs. The more money she had, the better. “Do you have a pen?”
