Chapter 130 Winter’s Jealousy 

Horace reluctantly followed Winter outside. Hearing that Gideon hadn’t denied being a couple with Nancy, Winter’s eyes blazed with fury.

anger was ablaze at the thought that a discarded girl from the Moore family had dared to get close to Gideon. 

Nancy looked aloof, but beneath it all, she was far more shameless than anyone else. 

Winter’s anger nearly made her lose control, her heels clicking sharply against the pavement as she stormed off. 

At the Duran Corporation building, Nancy had been in back-to-back meetings all morning, coordinating plans with the business development department. 

As the meeting wrapped up, she reached for a bottle of water, but Johnny grabbed it first, opening it for her with a warm smile on his face. The people around them exchanged amused glances. 

Nancy offered a small, helpless smile in response. “Thanks.” 

“You’re welcome. You must be tired, Ms. Moore, with such a tight schedule lately,” Johnny 

said with genuine concern. 

“Johnny, don’t show favoritism. Hurry and open mine too!” Christopher handed over his own bottle for Johnny to open. 

Johnny paused for a moment but complied. 

Christopher grinned. “You’re the best, Johnny. You’re always so thoughtful to everyone!” 

Johnny’s smile was polite but strained. 

As everyone gradually left the conference room, Nancy returned to her office and noticed a few people waiting outside. Her gaze darkened slightly. 

“Nancy!” Fergus rushed forward. “Raine didn’t come home all night, and you still have the nerve to show up at work?” 

“So she didn’t go home. What does that have to do with me?” Nancy said coldly. “And don’t interfere with my work.” 

Fergus’ eyes widened in disbelief. “Nancy, how can you be so heartless? Raine is your sister!

“Sorry, she isn’t my real sister. She’s just a fake heiress,” Nancy replied, her tone icy.

“Sorry, I’m not revoking it.” Nancy walked toward the office door, but Regina rose to block her path. 

Regina looked exhausted, her face drawn from lack of sleep. “Nancy, I’m begging you. Please 

revoke the bet. 

“Raine will only live with us from now on. We will no longer treat her as the Lidell heiress. I’ll give you even more care and attention. Will that be enough?” 

Regina looked utterly helpless, her eyes pleading. 

She believed that since Nancy had grown up without her and Andrew around, Nancy’s deepest longing was naturally for family affection. As long as they treated Nancy well, there was no

“Why would Nancy want Raine out of your family?” Winter asked, confused, 

Wendy glanced around, then leaned close to Winter and whispered, “Actually, Nancy is my real cousin…” 

Winter’s eyes widened in shock, then a slow, knowing smile spread across her face.

As soon as she picked up, Hillary’s shocked voice came through. “Nancy, did you see the news? Natalie picked your cousin as the female lead in her project!” 

“Wendy?” Nancy repeated. 

“Yes. Do you think Natalie is deliberately going against us?” The more Hillary thought about it, the angrier she became. 

“She knows that your relationship with Wendy isn’t great, so she’s using her on purpose!” 

Nancy thought for a moment. “Sure, Natalie may not like us, but I don’t think she would joke about her own script. Wendy’s reputation has improved a little recently, but it’s still badly damaged.” 

“That’s true. But why choose Wendy, then?” Hillary was puzzled but quickly dismissed it, 

“Forget it. It’s her choice. By the way, Nancy, I read your script. It’s incredible! It’s miles better than Natalie’s.”
