Chapter 23 Make the Child Call Me Daddy
Catherine thought she would collapse, but Jeremy appeared beside her unexpectedly. She looked at him in surprise. “Why are you here?”
“I was worried about you being out alone, so I followed.” Jeremy helped Catherine into the car. “Are you okay?”
After Catherine rested for a moment, she said, “I’m fine.”
Jeremy had been following Catherine at a distance and had seen Harry’s behavior. At that moment, he really wanted to rush up and beat Harry senseless. Yesterday’s fight clearly hadn’t been enough.
“Let’s go back.” Jeremy drove with a dark expression. He had thought Harry would get the divorce certificate with Catherine this time. He never expected Harry to suddenly change his
mind.
Catherine nodded. Every time she thought about Harry, she felt livid. How had she never noticed what a bastard Harry was before? She wished she’d slapped him a few more times
yesterday.
After Jeremy dropped Catherine back at the hospital, he called Harry. Harry saw his call and glanced at it casually, but didn’t answer. His mood was terrible right now.
Especially after seeing the two of them embrace as he left, it left a bitter taste in his mouth. Catherine was quite capable indeed.
After marrying him, she had maintained an affair with Jeremy and even gotten pregnant with another man’s child during their marriage. This woman was not only cunning but also had no
moral boundaries.
His phone rang persistently. Harry ignored Jeremy for about ten minutes before leisurely answering the call.
Actually, he and Jeremy had a good relationship. Their families were of similar status, and they had
grown up together. Without Catherine in the picture, they never would have come to blows.
“Tell me, what will it take for you to divorce her?” Jeremy was direct. His tone was cold and straightforward.
Harry chuckled. “When I’m in a better mood, maybe.”
He wasn’t going to help Jeremy and Catherine.

“Harry, what the hell is wrong with you? If you don’t love her, you should let her go. Look what you’ve done to her!” Jeremy exploded. “If I’d known you’d treat her like this, I never would have let you have her!”
Harry found it ridiculous. “She schemed to marry me. You think I wanted to marry her?
“Jeremy, you’re really gullible,” Harry said mockingly.
Jeremy’s eyes darkened. “Harry, do you really know her at all?”
“Does it matter?” Harry spoke lightly, not taking Jeremy’s words to heart. “As for when she and I will divorce, you can wait.”
Harry narrowed his eyes and smiled like a fox, ever cunning and sharp. “Even after the child is born, I won’t make things easy for you.”
Jeremy gripped the railing tightly. “Harry, do you find this amusing?”
“Very amusing.” Harry laughed softly. “Especially seeing you both so frustrated.”
Jeremy took a deep breath. “Harry, name your terms. As long as you divorce Catherine, I’ll agree to anything.”
Harry raised an eyebrow, but the darkness in his eyes deepened. For Jeremy to go this far showed how deep their feelings really were. “Fine. Just make Catherine’s kid call me Daddy.”
Jeremy was silent for a moment. Did Harry think the baby was his? But the misunderstanding worked in their favor.
Jeremy didn’t immediately agree but said sarcastically, “You enjoy being cuckolded that much?
