Chapter 13 I’m Giving You Another Chance
Catherine’s expression turned cold. “Mr. Warren, do you really think she’s being generous?”
She had just made contact with Bell Group, and now Michelle was suddenly offering her another chance. It was obvious Michelle had ulterior motives.
Caleb looked troubled. “So what should we do?”
“I won’t take the Bluebay project. If you want to do it, do it yourself.” Catherine’s tone was flat. She definitely wasn’t handling that project.
After seeing Harry at the hospital, she just wanted to stay away from both of them. Otherwise, if Michelle got upset about anything, he’d definitely blame her for it.
“But she specifically asked for you to handle it…” Caleb carefully studied Catherine’s expression. His voice was particularly soft.
Catherine cut off Caleb’s words with a firm refusal. “There’s no ‘buts’ about it. Either you do the project yourself, or we turn it down.”
Caleb had no choice but to say helplessly, “Alright then, I’ll negotiate with Ms. Stone again.”
Though he wanted both projects, the Bluebay project was filled with uncertainty. With
Catherine holding onto a major client like Jeremy now, he couldn’t afford to offend her in case she impulsively quit.
After Caleb left, Catherine picked up her bag to head to the hospital. She had barely left her office when she received a call from Michelle. She didn’t answer.
But Michelle kept calling persistently, so Catherine blocked her number. She hadn’t even had two seconds of peace when her phone rang again. Harry’s name appeared on her screen, making her heart jump.
Harry never called her directly. Even when he really needed to contact her, he went through Adrian. She didn’t need to think twice to know it was Michelle using his phone.
Without her standing between them, Harry could naturally be with Michelle without any reservations. While hesitating, Catherine unconsciously rubbed her finger across the screen and accidentally answered the call.
Michelle’s voice came through. “Ms. Quinn, are you looking down on my Bluebay project now that you have Bell Group’s project?”
“I think you understand this situation better than I do, Ms. Stone.” Catherine walked outside

with her phone. Her tone was cold. “You were never sincere about cooperating from the beginning. Why should we waste time?”

Michelle didn’t rush to answer Catherine’s question. Instead, she spoke to Harry first. “Harry, Ms. Quinn isn’t very appreciative of my gesture. What should I do?”
Catherine’s eyes darkened.
After a moment, Harry’s steady voice came through. “Catherine, take the opportunity when it’s given to you. Don’t be ungrateful.”
Catherine’s breathing paused, then she spoke calmly. “I don’t need this opportunity. I appreciate the gesture, but if there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now.”
“This isn’t a request.” Harry’s intimidating voice came through. “Don’t make me repeat myself.”
Catherine was about to speak when the call was disconnected. Before she could even leave the company building, Caleb came running over frantically.
“Ms. Quinn, Bluebay says if we don’t cooperate with them, they’ll make sure we can’t do business anywhere.”
Catherine stared at the disconnected call screen and laughed bitterly. Michelle was actually using Harry to pressure her.
What did he mean by giving her an opportunity? He was clearly giving Michelle an opportunity to make her life difficult!
