Chapter 192 

As Sebastian was about to leave, Sabrina got into the car. They were going to the same place, 

With a stony expression, Nicholas told him to give Sabrina a ride. Even if he didn’t like it, they still had to keep up the act. After all, Daniel was Lewis‘ subordinate, and they always met each other every holiday. 

Clearly displeased, Sebastian warned, “This is the last time.” 

Nicholas casually waved him off. 

After getting into the car, Sabrina glanced around. “Sebastian, do you always drive something this low–profile?” 

Gabriella had told her that Sebastian was cold and distant with everyone, even his own family. 

Thus, it made sense that he treated Sabrina the same way. 

Even though Gabriella was his niece, after returning to the country, he had remained aloof and indifferent toward her as well. 

Gabriella had tried to comfort Sabrina. She said that the future was full of unknowns, even though there was no real progress between Sabrina and Sebastian yet. After all, given his background and status, he was bound to marry for alliance. 

Sebastian merely pressed his lips together and didn’t say a word. Instead, he shot a look at Sabrina in the rearview mirror. It was as if she couldn’t comprehend anything, rendering communication simply impossible. 

His expression remained cold and grim as he drove all the way to Aurum. 

When they arrived there, the parking lot was already full. 

Sebastian got out of the car and tossed the keys to a security guard who walked over. 

The security guard, hired by Mark for a hefty price, was tall and powerfully built. He usually handled security at the club and dealt with drunks who got out of line. 

Without hesitation, he drove out Mark’s black Koenigsegg and pulled in Sebastian’s white Jetta. “Mr. Grant, Mr. Davidson is waiting for you in a private room on the third floor,” he said. 

“Sebastian, what a coincidence, Our room is on the third floor too. Nathan is here tonight. Why don’t you drop by and join us for a while?” Sabrina entered the elevator alongside him. 

Chapter 192 

Just then, Valeria came out of the restroom and was about to head back to her private room when she saw both of them step out of the elevator. She froze for a moment and instinctively 

retreated. 

It wasn’t until Sabrina and Sebastian had walked off into the distance that Valeria finally stepped out. 

Lindsey came up behind her and also stared at the two figures. “Isn’t that Ms. Lawson and her boyfriend? They almost broke up last time. Ms. Lawson even threw a fit in the office. Are they back together now?” 

Valeria stood still. Her fingers slowly clenched as she lowered her gaze. 

Lindsey lightly tapped her shoulder. “What has gotten into you? You look totally spaced out.‘ 

Valeria came back to her senses, gave a small nod, and smiled. “Let’s head back too.” 

They soon returned to the private room. 

With Sabrina’s arrival, everyone raised their glasses in a toast. 

Valeria took a sip as well. She wasn’t a heavy drinker. That night was the company’s year–end gathering, so she drank a little more than usual. 

After a short while, her vision started to blur slightly. 

Sebastian pushed open the door to the private room and immediately sensed something off about the atmosphere. Besides his usual friends, Mark, Simon, and Gavin, there was also a middle–aged man he didn’t recognize. 

He instantly frowned. 

Before he could say anything, the man suddenly pulled out a crucifix and began muttering, ” Be gone, evil spirit!” 

Sebastian froze for a second. 

In that exact instant, the man grabbed a basin filled with some unknown liquid and chanted, ” Such powerful dark energy! You’re clearly possessed! A disaster is about to unfold!”
