Seraphina saw right through her. Jessica was just stalling, spouting nonsense because she didn’t want to leave.
Her eyes darkened, her voice dropping. “Jessica, you started this. You made the bet. And now that you’ve lost, you’re accusing me of bullying you?”
‘For someone your age, you certainly have a thick skin.”
