Chapter 60 Who Gideon Really Liked
“Alright. Please come with me,” came the store manager’s response.
Nancy peered through the crack in the door as they walked away.
Gideon was here to buy a woman’s dress? Was he planning to give it to someone?
Then, it hit her
Why was she hiding?
She pushed the door open and stepped out as if nothing had happened, only to meet his eyes the
moment he turned.
He wore a faint smile, making his already striking face downright dangerous.
“What a coincidence, Nancy,” he said slowly. “Why don’t you help me pick out a dress?”
“Sure,” Nancy replied. “But who’s it for?”
“For someone who means a great deal to me,” he replied simply.
Nancy’s heart skipped a beat as she stared at the lavish gown in front of her.
“Is it for someone you like?” she asked softly.
Gideon acted as if he hadn’t heard her. Instead, he held up another dress and asked, “What about
this one?”
The soft blush–gray gown held the delicacy of a princess and the poise of a queen.
Nancy nodded. “I think it’s beautiful.”
“I heard that Designer Graham’s newest collection just arrived?” Gideon asked in a low voice.
“Yes, Mr. Fuller. It was delivered today. Would you like to see it in the VIP lounge?” the manager
replied
It’s fine. Nancy’s probably already seen it. Which dress here do you think is the most stunning?”
Cuteon asked
Mus gaze dipped, those dark, narrow eyes locking with hers.

Gideon was willing to pay ten times the original price for a dress that he was going to give to
another woman?
Still, she wasn’t about to turn down such an offer, so she gave a small nod.
The manager immediately said, “Perfect! Mr. Fuller, please leave me an address so I can have it
sent over!”
Gideon gave him the address.
“Thanks for helping me choose, Nancy. How about I buy you dinner as thanks?” His eyes carried a hint of a smile, warm and dangerous enough to pull her in.
She happened to be hungry, so she didn’t turn him down. “Sure,” she replied.
Soon, they arrived at a nearby restaurant.
After ordering a few dishes, Gideon looked at her and asked, “Want to add anything?”
“It’s fine. You’ve already picked everything I like,” Nancy said.
There was a glimmer of a smile in his eyes as he set the menu aside.
“There’s a banquet in Riversdale in a few days. Will you be in attendance?”
“What kind of banquet?”
“It’s tied to the bidding conference,” he said.
Nancy looked at him and responded, “So you really did come here for the bidding conference.”
“Yeah,” Gideon replied as he nodded. “So? Will you go?”
Nancy nodded. “I will.”
She then quickly added, “About that dress-‘
Suddenly, her phone rang, cutting her short. She pulled out her phone and glanced at the screen.
It was Hillary calling.
“Excuse me. I have to take this call.”
She answered her phone, and Hillary’s voice was buzzing with excitement. “I’ve been so busy the past couple of days that I totally forgot! Remember when Gideon said the person he liked was in the room with us? He likes you!”
“Maybe not,” Nancy said quietly. “Maybe he meant that he liked the bar itself.”
“No way! It’s definitely you!” Hillary said firmly with a bright, triumphant laugh. “I can’t believe it! Gideon, the richest heir in Boraska, is crushing on my best friend! This is unbelievable!”
