Bailey’s pov 

Juliet’s face twisted into many emotions all at once. 

Confusion. 

Then disbelief. 

And then…..rage. 

Pure raw rage that turned her face ugly. 

The hand that held the gun tremble, however she remove the aim towards me and aimed it at Stefan who still held the phone up.” You backstabbing asshole! You- 

“It wouldn’t matter if you kill me now Juliet, they’re on their way and you won’t get away with this.” Stefan cuts in her words just before a loud bang shot through the air followed by his painful groan. 

A scream tore through my throat when I watch the phone fall from his grasp and clatter to the floor, screen still lit up with the 911 dispatcher on the line. Blood smeared across it while his body slumps to the floor unconscious and unmoving- 

My entire body became numb. It felt like I couldn’t breathe as I stare at Stefan’s unmoving body. Beneath him is a pool of his own blood. A lump forms in my throat and vomit crawls up threateningly. 

Juliet rushes over to him and throws one leg over him. Her chest heaves as she glares down at his unmoving body.” Look at what you made me do!” she snarls out and I am unsure if those words were directed at me or Stefan. 

She aims for the phone, hitting it with the bullet in one go. Her aim made me question how long she has been good at shooting. she looks so emotionless while doing so. She looked down at her doing as though she couldn’t register how far she had gone. 

An angry frustrated scream rip from her throat as her empty hand reach for her hair, tugging so harshly I am surprised she has not snatched her strands from her scalp as yet.” This is all your fault! Your fault!” 

Her livid eyes shot to me and I froze. I couldn’t blink and I couldn’t seem to cry anymore. It was like my body knew that it would be useless to beg for my life. Not when her eyes were so inhumane, so cold, so wild and untamed. 

Her gaze locked on me and I could see the wheels in her head turning. It was like she was trying to tell herself that killing me would make sense, that everything she had done was all worth it. 

My heart rams against my chest as she puts her full attention on me. I swallowed. “I should have killed you from the start. Got rid of you when I saw Kaleb gave you the first bit of attention.” 

Her words riddled me numb and I press my lips tighter, hoping that my silence would tame her furious murderous energy.” You were always in the way. Always had his attention even when he didn’t want to admit it. He would have loved me if you were never in the picture.” 

I wanted to tell her she had gone insane. That Kaleb would never love someone who would go to the lengths she went to gain him. She was a cold blooded murderer. My Kaleb would never love someone so heartless. 

My Kaleb….

Chapter 110 

My family.. 

Juna 

My lower lip tremble. There was a good chance I would not walk out of here free. There was a good chance I would die tonight. I wouldn’t see my family again or Kaleb. I wouldn’t 

Suddenly there was a shattering sound of sirens zapping through the air and my heart leapt. Juliet stilled, eyes growing distant as though she was in some sort of trance. “No,” she whispered in disbelief just as blue and red lights dance behind her back from the small broken window. 

The glow of the lights seem to snap her out of the daze because the wildness in her eyes returns.” No, no, no!” she yells, pacing the floor in front of me. She was like a wild animal who got trapped in a cage. 

“You don’t have to do this you know,” my voice is soft but she caught it. She stops in her tracks and I continue.“You don’t have to be this person Juliet. You don’t have to have blood on your hands.” 

Tires screech, door slams and voices bark out orders. My heart raced, this time not with fear but a little hope. 

Juliet’s wild eyes returns to me and her upper lip curls back in a snarl. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. Especially when the reward is my love Kaleb,” she draws the gun back to me, her head tilting. 

“Besides you can’t live. Kaleb and I are going to be a happy little family. I am expecting his baby,” her snarl turn into a smirk while her eyes twinkle. “He’s going to love me now.” 

Her words hit me like a punch in my chest. My breath staggered and I choked. 

She was expecting his baby? 

That couldn’t be right….could it? 

It had to be one of her many delusions. I wouldn’t doubt it. 

“You’re preg- 

“I am,” she cuts in with a mocking satisfied smile. “Well I think I am, well I will be,” 

My brows furrow trying to make sense of her words. Her talking to me was distracting her enough so there was a possibility of the cops getting to us in time. There was hope. All I had to do was play along and be smart enough to avoid her shooting me before they found us in here. 

“What are you saying?” I asked, also curious to what she was implying. 

The day you two fucked outside this very house, he threw something,” her eyes twinkled, head tilted. “He threw out a gift for us both.” 

My heart jumps in my throat. No. This girl wasn’t that crazy to do what I think she did. There was no way she took his used condom that he had ejaculated in and used it to impregnate herself….. 

But as I watch her, the doubt of her not going this far flew out the window. She was that insane to go to the depths to gain Kaleb and for that I didn’t doubt she’d take the sperm in the condom to get pregnant 

“You’re insane,” I whispered before I could clamp my mouth shut. 

Her eyes turn cold and ruthless, her gun aim directly at my chest. “Insane enough to-
