Chapter 19
Jessica’s phone buzzed, breaking the tension. She snatched it up, her heart pounding as she saw Alex’s name flash on the screen. Hoping that he will come back she answered quickly.
“Alex?” Jessica trembled with a face ashen like dust. ” Please come back, where are
you?”
“Where I should have been from the beginning, I am going to fetch my wife.
I am not coming back, I called to inform you that you must get out of my house by tomorrow. When Elena comes back I don’t want her mood to be ruined because of your disgusting presence.”
Jessica’s breath hitched as she cried “What… What the hell are you talking about? We’re supposed to be getting married today!”
“Marry a bitch like you? Do you think you can become Giovanni Empire’s madam by climbing my bed? If it wasn’t for the misunderstanding I wouldn’t have kept you around
at all!”
“No Alex! Please-”
“I will make your life hell Jessica, this is just the beginning.”
“No! What about our baby?! How can you be so heartless to your child Alex?If you didnt come here right now then I will fucking abort this baby!” With a manic–like laughter Jessica replied to which Alex calmly smiled.
“Then fucking do it!”
“W–What? It’s your heir that you always wanted! It’s our child!”
“Our child? Don’t you dare dream. Only Elena’s children are mine, I don’t care what you do with this child. If you want to give birth then go ahead and do it, I will later give it to. Elena for raising because you only seem to treat it like a weapon to enter my world. Jessica you are not fit to be a mother at all!” Alex couldn’t even fathom why he selected such a woman above me and was angry on himself.
“Alex! Are you leaving me for that stupid barren woman?!
“Shutup! My wife is pregnant with twins, not one but two heirs! I don’t need you and your lies anymore.”
“Twins?” Jessica finally managed to say, her voice cracking. “You hate her. You’ve always hated Elena, she is lying to you! There are no fucking twins!”
“She is not you Jessica. I hated the image of Elena that you made me believe she was. When Elena was there I had everything but because of you I lost my wife and children!

“Shutup! My wife is pregnant with twins, not one but two heirs! I don’t need you and your lies anymore.”
“Twins?” Jessica finally managed to say, her voice cracking. “You hate her. You’ve always hated Elena, she is lying to you! There are no fucking twins!”
“She is not you Jessica. I hated the image of Elena that you made me believe she was. When Elena was there I had everything but because of you I lost my wife and children!
My grandfather threw me out of the family and all my life was ruined. You are a disaster!”
Jessica’s mouth opened, but no words came out. The room seemed to be spinning around her.
“Please don’t do this to me Alex, what about me?” Jessica whispered, her voice breaking. “What about us?”
“There was no us from the very beginning, it was all your illusion.”
On the most important day of her life, Jessica was left alone, in her white dress, surrounded by the wreckage of a day that was supposed to be hers.
Considering the situation that had already gone out of hand my mother quickly ended the banquet forcing the guests to leave even when they wished to witness the drama. She was shocked beyond belief to know the daughter she considered innocent was this kind of a monster. At that moment guilt and anxiousness to see me made her
eyes tear up.

A loud noise echoed through the surroundings as my mother slapped Jessica harshly. “How dare you! Bitch!” Slapping Jessica made her hand tremble as the headmaid‘ supported her to the sofa.
“You dirty wench! Not only did you fail to procure any benefits for my sons but also dared to compete with my daughter. I would have been the grandfather of the Giovanni heirs and you snatched everything from us! See I don’t kill you today!”
Jessica cowered in fear as another slap landed on her cheek, even the servants looked shocked.
“What the fuck did you say to Alex? You dared to stab us in the back when we treated you so kindly, even going as per as to kick our biological sister out just for your sake!” “I–I.. it was the mistake brother, I never intended to blame you, Alex forced me to lie to his grandfather to save face-”

A loud noise echoed through the surroundings as my mother slapped Jessica harshly.
“How dare you! Bitch!” Slapping Jessica made her hand tremble as the headmaid supported her to the sofa.
“You dirty wench! Not only did you fail to procure any benefits for my sons but also dared to compete with my daughter. I would have been the grandfather of the Giovanni heirs and you snatched everything from us! See I don’t kill you today!”

Later when Alex got well and Elena married him, you told us that she seduced your fiance and we even fucking believed you and threw out our sister without a penny!” Leonard wanted to kill Jessica yet refrained from making another mistake.
“Tell us, wasn’t it you who used to say that Elena always bullied you in college, forcing
us to make our sister drop out!
Do you fucking remember when you both got into a car accident four years ago! We brought you to the hospital while Elena was left to die on the streets because we forgot about her!” Victor looked at Jessica with a glare gritting his teeth in rage.
“Turns out it’s not Elena but you who is a snake!”
