Chapter 110
In today’s society, it was quite common for a child to take their mother’s surname.
A few years ago, Mallory had been pregnant. At the time, she had discussed things with Zayn, and they decided that the child would bear her surname. But due to overwork and some health issues, she lost the baby.
So before this, Sebastian hadn’t suspected a thing. But today, he had seen that man, appear in Valeria’s home.
Now, Sebastian was certain.
Caleb,
Valeria clearly had a lukewarm relationship with her husband. After all, a long–distance marriage was bound to have its emotional problems eventually.
Sebastian’s lips curled into a smile, but the smile did not reach his eyes. He mocked, “Am I interrupting something?”
So Valeria was trying to make him leave. What would happen after he did?
Sebastian’s fingers clamped down on her shoulders, preventing her from moving. With his strength, he could easily control her movements.
He lowered his head and whispered into her ear. His hot, damp breath brushed against her
skin as he did so.
“Why not be with me instead? If you’re trying to soothe your loneliness, I can make you feel
better than he can.”
As he said that, his tone was incredibly calm as he looked right at her face with an intense gaze.
Valeria shrank back slightly, but all she could manage was to turn her face away. His whispers earlier had caused her face to burn red with shock and embarrassment from his words.
“You…” Valeria’s lips trembled.
Sebastian was acting completely unlike the man she once knew, but maybe this was how he
truly was.
Maybe that deceptively aloof behavior, where he seemed to stand above everyone else, was just a front.
Valeria had never expected him to say something so flirtatious or brazen.
She was still frozen in place when Caleb said from the bathroom, “Valeria, the pipe is still leaking a little. I’m heading back to my mom’s place to grab a tool.”

The moment Valeria heard Caleb’s voice, she shoved Sebastian away, hard.
Sebastian smoothly caught her hand and clenched it, pressing it against his chest. He wrapped his other arm around her, pushing her forward until her back hit the door.
Then, he kissed her.
His Adam’s apple bobbed as he kissed her forcefully, leaving no room for her to resist.
Caleb called out again from the bathroom, and Valeria pounded on Sebastian’s chest in a panic.
Every sound seemed to be amplified at that moment–the wet sounds of their lips colliding, her fingers clawing at his shirt as she struggled in resistance, and their chaotic breathing. Even the sound of Caleb standing up in the bathroom and the rustle of his clothes as he walked seemed amplified.
Valeria grew frantic. She opened her mouth to bite him like last time, but he anticipated it and
seized her chin first.
Valeria’s eyes reddened as she shot him a pleading look.
Sebastian forced her knees apart with his leg. He tightened his grip on her hand, flattening her fingers against his chest while the other hand kept her chin in place.
He panted against her ear and bit at her earlobes. She was incredibly sensitive there.
Just a gentle bite from him sent her shivering violently.
“Valeria, reject him. Tell him to leave. I’ll let you go if you do that,” Sebastian said.
Valeria nodded without any hesitation, and Sebastian finally let her go. She stumbled back two steps, and just as she turned around, the half–open bathroom door creaked open.
Caleb stepped out. “There’s a part I forgot to buy. I’m missing two screws, and my mom has some at her place. I’ll go get them.”
“There’s no need for the trouble,” Valeria said, keenly feeling Sebastian watching her closely
from behind.
She reached up and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “It’s getting late. Thank you again for making the trip today.”
