Chapter 98 

Under the light, Sebastian’s sharp and handsome features looked striking and defined. He, too, had drunk a bit tonight. 

He held a cigarette between his fingers as he pondered what type of woman he liked. 

Suddenly, he narrowed his eyes and said hoarsely, “She hasn’t divorced yet.” 

Then he looked at the box of imported chocolates on the table. He raised his hand and motioned for a stunned Mark to get him a new box. He wanted to give Selena one. 

But Mark was still frozen on the spot, and so were the rest. Some of them looked subtly confused, and others were outright shocked. 

Nathan made a small, hesitant sound. In the end, they all stiffly turned their heads, looking at each other and exchanging glances. 

So, the homewrecker that Martha mentioned was actually Sebastian. 

Sebastian had one arm resting on the back of the couch. His fingers were pressed to his temple as smoke curled up from his cigarette. 

“Tell me. Is there a way to make her divorce her husband?” he suddenly asked. 

Simon was struck speechless. 

Was this even something a decent person would say? Sebastian wanted to make the woman divorce her husband? Really? That was a married couple! 

But Simon didn’t say it out loud. 

None of them said a word. This was something that had no good response. That topic was enough to sober everyone up. 

Sebastian stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray and stood up. 

“Do you all think I’m crazy, 

too?” 

That was another question that none of them dared to answer. 

Then Sebastian left. On his way out, he grabbed a box of chocolates from the table. 

He got into a cab, then opened a window. Cold wind blew against his alcohol-flushed face. 

After a while, he stumbled out of the car, only half-sober. He paid the fare and walked into an old neighborhood. 

He was sober enough to remember which building Valeria lived in, but drunk enough to knock

on the wrong door. 

A middle-aged man opened it and gruffly asked who he was looking for. Sebastian leaned against the wall and mumbled that he had gotten the wrong unit. 

The man seemed to curse at him for being drunk and then slammed the door shut. 

Sebastian slid down the wall. When he looked up again, a pair of women’s beige leather shoes came into view. 

Sebastian swayed as he got to his feet, and he squinted. 

The woman’s face looked blurry but delicate. 

Valeria hadn’t expected that after walking the dogs, she would come home and find Sebastian leaning against her door. 

“What are you doing here?” She frowned, catching the increasingly heavy scent of alcohol in the air. 

Sebastian reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of chocolate, then stuffed them into Valeria’s hand. 

Next, he pulled out an apple from the other pocket and gave it to her, too. Both her hands were completely full. 

“You…” Valeria wanted to ask but was confused. 

Sebastian kept digging in his pockets, but there was nothing left. 

So, he took off his watch and put it on Valeria’s arm. It was a man’s watch, too big for her, and it hung loosely on her wrist. 

Then, he looked a little annoyed at having nothing else to give. So, he took off his coat and draped it over Valeria’s shoulders. 

He started undoing the buttons of his vest, then his shirt. 

Valeria tried to stop him. “Sebastian, how much did you drink?”
