Chapter 65 

“Mr. Grant, do you remember me? We went to the same high school. I was from Class B. We’ve 

met before.” 

Ten years had passed since Sebastian had been in high school. It would’ve been difficult to recognize his own classmates, let alone someone from a neighboring class. Sebastian didn’t remember him. 

However, since they hailed from the same school, Sebastian still faked a smile. 

“My name is Chandler Portman. I was the sports monitor for Class B.” 

Chandler handed Sebastian his business card. 

Sebastian took it. Suddenly, he asked, “Was there someone called Valeria in your class?” 

“Valeria?” After a moment of thought, Chandler said, “Yeah, she sat behind me.” 

In reality, Chandler didn’t remember much about Valeria. He knew of her, but had forgotten what she looked like. That being said, if Sebastian was asking, of course he had to lie and say 

yes. 

It hadn’t been an easy feat, getting to speak to one of the heirs of the Grant family fortune. Chandler valued the opportunity. Although he had no idea why Sebastian was asking after Valeria, he immediately called some of his friends to ask about her. 

Eventually, when everyone had emptied their bottles and were getting ready to leave, Chandler finally told Sebastian about what he’d heard. 

“Valeria is currently in Slate City. She was from Juzale, but she married a man from Slate City, so now she stays here. If you’d like to meet with Valeria, I can help you contact her.” 

Sebastian hung his coat on his arm and got up. He’d been drinking throughout the night, so his head was spinning. Upon hearing Chandler’s suggestion, he paused. 

Chandler observed Sebastian’s expression. He seemed calm-this information hadn’t fazed him. Sebastian massaged his temples. He’d lost interest in Chandler. 

When Sebastian got home, he sank into his couch. Nemo padded over and butted at him with 

his head. 

Sebastian’s eyes fell on the music box on the table. The bunny was cute, but it looked a little comical. When the bunny began twirling around, it did so to a melodic tune. 

He shoved it into a cabinet before collapsing back into his couch. The soft cushions enveloped 

Sebastian as he closed his eyes. 

His head was pounding, and every breath seemed too hot. 

“Nemo, what’s going on with me?” 

Why were memories flashing through his head? He kept recalling bits and pieces of his past. 

Naturally, Nemo couldn’t offer him a response. However, it picked up on Sebastian’s feelings and placed its fluffy chin onto his leg, nuzzling into him. 

After Mark’s wedding, everyone gathered around to take a group photo. Sabrina squeezed in beside Sebastian and hooked an arm around his. 

The bridesmaids and groomsmen were clothed according to the same theme. However, everyone in the frame looked amazing, so much so that the photo of them went viral. This was helped by the fact that word spread fast within elite circles. 

During lunch, Valeria was scrolling through her feed when she saw the photo. Her eyes were drawn to Sebastian and Sabrina. 

Both hailed from equally respectable families. With Sebastian’s gray suit and Sabrina’s lavender dress, they looked like a match made in heaven. His slight smile was coupled with 

Sabrina’s toothy, bashful grin. 

“What a grand wedding. I heard that many powerful people attended Mr. Davidson’s wedding. Ms. Lawson went as a bridesmaid.” 

“The man beside her must be her fiance. He’s so handsome, even more so than any celebrity.” 

“Queenie, didn’t you guys have dinner together? That’s him, right?” 

Queenie nodded. She gossiped fervently with her colleagues and even pulled Valeria over. Valeria, do you remember when we went out together? We even met Ms. Lawson’s boyfriend.” 

Valeria nodded before looking down to continue eating. 

She 

gave off the illusion of disinterest. Only Valeria herself knew that she merely wanted to get out of the conversation.
