Chapter 831
“If all you want is money, then for the sake of old ties, I can give you a sum. But I hope you’ll stop deceiving her feelings. Sharon is already struggling emotionally, and her collapse would be a loss for our entire country.”
The other two women nodded solemnly, as if in righteous agreement.
Sharon said, “Since the three of you know who I am, you must also be aware of my recent conflict with Kelly,
yes?”
The three exchanged puzzled looks before nodding.
“Interesting,” Sharon continued, her tone still calm but edged with steel. “You speak so convincingly, even producing photos as evidence. But photos can be forged. I’ve reviewed the videos you submitted as well—most avoid showing a clear face. That alone makes me question the truth of your claims.
“So here’s what I intend to do: I’ll release your stories online and ask the public for leads. If your relationships were real, surely at least one of your friends must have met him. Even if you managed to hide the romance well, all three of you keeping it equally secret stretches belief, doesn’t it?”
Her gaze fell on the heiress.
“I recall that your fiancé had an affair with your stepsister. At that time, you happened to meet Thomas, and your fake act turned into something real-or so you claim. In that case, your stepsister and your ex-fiancé
couldn’t possibly have been unaware of his existence.
“You say you were with Thomas, while Thomas insists he doesn’t know you. Fine. Then let’s ask the people around you. The truth will come out easily enough.”
The three women’s faces darkened at once.
They could coordinate lies with family or close friends, but casual acquaintances? Those couldn’t be relied on. Some so-called “best friends” might even secretly resent them, eager for a chance to see them fall.
Sharon smiled, watching their expressions shift.
“With my current influence, even someone as powerful as Carter can’t silence me so easily. If I put this online and let the public provide clues, don’t you think… new truths might surface?
“You’ve all seen Kelly’s downfall. None of you come from modest families. If people discover you spread
malicious lies…”

Her eyes swept over the CEO, the heiress, and the socialite in turn.
“Who would want to do business with, or befriend, someone who speaks falsehoods so casually?”
Panic flickered openly across their faces.
The socialite, with her fragile nerves, looked utterly lost. The heiress, too, wavered-and her eyes darted almost instinctively toward Carter.
He caught the glance and snapped coldly, “Why do you keep looking at me?”
At that moment, the CEO suddenly spoke. “Mr. Biggs, don’t you have something to say?”
His eyelids twitched. “What exactly do you expect me to say?”
The other two women turned on him as well. “Mr. Biggs, if you won’t speak up for us, do you mean to dump all
the blame on our shoulders?”
“Utter nonsense,” Carter growled.
The heiress bristled, anger flashing. “Mr. Biggs, it was you who instructed us to smear Thomas online. And now you won’t take responsibility?”
Carter let out a cold, incredulous laugh. “Why would I ever ask you to frame him?”
The socialite’s composure cracked. “Because you want to remarry Sharon. But this handsome guy, Thomas, is
always at her side, and he makes you feel threatened!”
