Adams truly wasn’t expecting to see May at home, and she obviously wasn’t looking so well either.
“What are you doing here?”
“Shouldn’t I be asking you the same.” Adams unknowingly replied.
May raised her eye brow, giving him a look that says ‘are you kidding me?‘, but she still decides to answer him, after all he is her boss. “I called in sick today since I wasn’t feeling well.”
“Oh, sorry about that, hope you’re feeling better.”
“I am, if all goes well, I should resume work tomorrow.” She replied. Adams nodded.
“What brings you here?” May asked once more, but she could already guess the answer to that question.
Adams sighed deeply. “I know you hate, you obviously made it clear the last time, but please, just this once, I really need to see Alicia, I’m begging you.” He pleaded.
May looked at him for a while. “Well, as you can see, she’s not home.”
“Where is she then? I…Is she at work?”
May tapped her forehead with her palm. “Please just go Adams, Alicia wouldn’t want to see you and I can’t tell you where she is.”
“Please May, just this once, please help me out this one time, it’s important I get to see her, I just want to talk, that’s all.”
“You two have nothing to say to each other Adams, can you please just stop trying so hard already. Have you thought about what your actions will make Alicia feel? She doesn’t want to see you, is that so hard to accept?”
“Yes it is May, it is because you have no idea how much I regret everything that I’ve done to Alicia, you have no idea how much I hate myself for letting her go and not standing by her side, how much I blame myself these past few years that I wasn’t with her. It’s all my fault May, it’s all my fault, I ruined the perfect life and the perfect marriage that we both had, I ruined it all, but now I’ve come to realize my mistake and I’m trying so hard to right those wrongs that I’ve done.” He paused to catch his breath. “I know saying sorry isn’t enough to fix everything, that’s why I’m willing to do all it takes to gain Alicia’s trust back. I just want my wife back, I just my Alicia back, that’s all I ask.”
May could only stare at him, she doesn’t even know what to say at this point, she could literally see the honesty in his eyes and she could feel the pain and regret in his voice. She sharply turned around, then she whispered. “God I’m going to regret this!”

Alicia was at the venue where her fan meeting was being held, she was currently attending to all her fans, signing their copies of her newly launched book.
A lot of questions were being thrown at her, not only by her fans but also the paparazzi that were there, and she did her best to answer their questions. They haven’t even gone halfway into the event and she was already feeling super exhausted, but her smile never left her face because she was truly grateful to all the people that were present and the ones that couldn’t come either, she was grateful to all her supporters around the world because they are the reason she’s were she’s today, their support to her work is one of the things that keeps her going and makes her keep pushing no matter what. She was also giving away special packages which she had prepared for her fans alone.
Alicia just finished attending to one fan and on seeing the next person, she froze.
Adams was standing in front of her, holding a copy of her book. Alicia was so shocked to see him there and her expression didn’t even conceal her shock, she could only stare at him because he’s actually the last person she expects to see there.

her mesmerized him, and he found himself falling in love with over again. He hurriedly bought a copy of her book and making his way to the front row amongst those crowd wasn’t difficult at all, his looks and his aura was enough to make people let him through, and the ladies also wouldn’t stop gushing over him..
Daniel who was standing behind Alicia noticed what was going on, he bent down and whispered her name. “Alicia, what are you doing? Snap out of it!” He said, a note of urgency in his voice.
That seems to do the trick as Alicia immediately snapped out of her thoughts. She wanted to question Adams and ask him what he was doing there, if possible she wants him out of there immediately, but she wouldn’t want to cause a scene at her own fan meeting, it clearly would do no good to her image, the last thing she wants is having ridiculous news about her being published everywhere, all this things made her to control herself.
Adams slowly stretched his book towards her, he couldn’t even take his eyes off her face for one second.
Alicia now has a frown on her face, deep down she would want nothing more than to snatch that book and throw it at him, but rather than doing that, she managed to force out a fake smile and took the book from him, she hurriedly signed it and gave it back to him, then she took one of the gift bag and gave that to him too.
When Adams collected both things, he was meant to leave immediately, but he stood there and stared at her instead.
“What the hell are you still doing standing there!? Get out!” Alicia whispered with gritted teeth, while signaling with her eyes for him to leave, she’s got tons of fans waiting and she wouldn’t want to waste time in attending to them.
“Come on, leave already.” She mouthed, feeling pissed.
Adams gave her a small smile. “I’ll be waiting for you.” He said before leaving.
Alicia was mentally screaming, then she thought. “He always manage to ruin everything.”
