Chapter 93

Both Elena and Camila laughed.

After they chatted on and off for a while, Camila grabbed her tablet, wanting to find a movie to kill time. However, she saw a piece of news pop up, and her eyes widened.

“Lena, check this out!” Camila pushed the tablet in front of her, and the screen was showing the teaser poster for Zachary’s exhibition.

There was an unfinished portrait in the middle of the screen. Only the profile of a woman was outlined on

the canvas, and there was tiny writing on the bottom right corner that read “To E.”

“Anybody can tell it’s you at a glance! And he wrote ‘E’, as in Elena?” Camila exclaimed.

Elena frowned a little.

Zachary’s teaser poster had already created quite a discussion online.

“Who is E?”

“Could it be someone Zachary likes?”

“Is Zachary in love?”

“Who’s his girlfriend? I’m curious.”

Zachary didn’t respond to any of the discussions online.

“It’s not really okay for him to do this, right?” Camila’s eyebrows furrowed. “To be honest, anybody who knows you would recognize you from this profile.”

The profile on the poster had gentle lines. The curve at the corner of the woman’s eye perfectly captured Elena’s usual expression. The tiny mole on her earlobe was clearly drawn as well.

Camila slammed the tablet on the table, not bothering to wipe off the crumbs of the chocolate bar falling from her lips. “I think he did it on purpose! He knows Alexander is your fiance, so he wants to make him

misunderstand. Isn’t that right?”

Elena’s phone buzzed right after the words left Camila’s lips.

Elena picked it up almost out of reflex, but the name on the screen was not Alexander’s. Instead, it was a text from an unknown number. “Ms. Miller, I created the poster out of my selfishness. If you mind it, I can

take it down immediately-Zachary.”

“How dare he text you?” Camila peered over Elena’s shoulder, feeling so angry that she almost smashed the tablet. “What is this nonsense about his selfishness? What gave him the right to get you involved just

because of it?”

Elena stared at the text, her thumb hovering above the screen, but she did nothing.

Should she get him to take it down? With Zachary’s influence in the arts community, changing the teaser poster at the last minute would create a bigger commotion.

If that were to happen, E’s identity would only be completely exposed. By then, her relationship with Zachary would become a hot topic.

“Lena, hurry up and get him to take it down,” Camila urged.

“Forget it. There’s no need to do it.” Elena didn’t reply to Zachary’s text and put her phone down calmly instead.

“But-”

“It’s just an unfinished painting,” Elena said calmly. “Besides, the person in the painting only looks like me in profile.”

What happened with Zachary’s exhibition was his own business. Elena had done nothing wrong, so why would she have to hide?

“But what if Alexander misunderstood?” Camila asked cautiously.

“If he did, I’ll explain it to him,” Elena said with a smile. “It’s fine as long as I clarify it.”

She didn’t think Alexander was the type to fly into a rage without a reason.

“Jus, quick, check this out!” Nadine showed her phone to Justin, as if she were presenting a treasure.

Zachary’s teaser poster for the exhibition was showing on the screen of her phone.

At first, Justin only glanced at it casually. But after he saw the profile on the poster, he snatched her

phone from her, staring at it so hard as if he wanted to pierce right through it.

“Where is this from? Who drew this?” he asked icily.

“It’s the teaser poster for Zachary’s exhibition,” Nadine replied with a grin. “Looks like you’ve recognized

her. That’s Elena, isn’t it?”

Justin’s gaze landed on the writing that read “To E” at the bottom right corner.
