Romina walked over curiously. “How come you’re home so early today?”

Romina turned her head at the sound and saw the pink box in the child’s hands.
“These are pastries Joaquin sent over. They should taste pretty good, so I thought we could all try
some.”
Romina walked up to the child, opened the box, and saw the pastries inside.
There were more than thirty varieties in total, all beautifully packaged.
She took out a piece of pastry and handed it to the child. “Here, have some!”
“Thank you, Auntie Romina.”
“You should thank Joaquin,” Romina said as she put down the box and reached out to gently pat the child’s head. “Next time you see him, what should you say to Joaquin?”
“I should thank Daddy Joaquin in person and thank him for giving us such delicious pastries.”
Lina looked up at her, the smile on her face growing wider.
