A deep, resonant voice suddenly echoed from the wellness clinic’s lobby.
The voice was loud enough that Romina, who was in the restroom, could hear it clearly.
Just from the sound, she knew exactly who had arrived.
“Romi’s in the restroom. If you need something, wait for her in the lounge!”
As Romina was about to open the door, she heard Miguel’s displeased response, followed by the sound of a man striding toward the lounge.
She quickly wiped the tears from her cheeks, her eyes suddenly turning cold.
After composing herself, she finally opened the door and walked out.
Miguel pointed toward the lounge. “Romi, he’s here.”
Romina nodded knowingly.
Although neither of them mentioned the person’s name, they both understood.
When she entered the lounge, she saw Jericho sitting on the sofa, his long legs crossed, one hand resting on the armrest, exuding a heavy, oppressive aura.
When he saw her come in, he lifted his deep, shimmering eyes, looking at her with cold indifference.
“What are you doing here?”
Romina closed the door behind her and sat down directly on the sofa opposite him.
“What else could I be doing? Of course, I’m here to get an explanation,” Jericho said, his brows fur- rowed, his voice tinged with displeasure. “From the day at the Bowman’s mansion until now, you still haven’t given me a satisfactory answer. Don’t you think you owe me an explanation?”
Romina suddenly let out a cold, mocking laugh.
She thought this matter was over, but to her surprise, this infuriating man still wouldn’t let it go.
“I’ve already said it before–it was she who insulted me first, so I hit her,” Romina said bluntly. “I didn’t investigate, but I know that she was involved in framing the wellness clinic!”

Romina didn’t respond to him. Instead, she stood up from the sofa.
“I said, as long as you apologize to Nadine, I won’t pursue this matter any further.”
Jericho also stood up from the sofa, looking at her with a cold expression.
The corners of the man’s eyes were tinged with red.
A captivating smile curled at the corner of Romina’s lips. “You want me to apologize?”
Jericho said bluntly, “Yes!”

She enunciated each word, “Keep dreaming!”
As soon as she said this, the air around the man grew even colder.
“Romina, you…”
“Please leave immediately. Don’t waste any more of my time with patients.”
Romina instinctively reached out, pointing directly at the door, her eyes filled with icy resolve.

Romina withdrew her gaze and looked at Miguel beside her, her tone calm. “No.”
