Hearing a knock at the door, Romina looked up toward the entrance. 

Miguel slid open the door, poked his head in, and said, “Romi, he’s gone.” 

“Alright, thank you.” 

Romina curled her lips into a gentle smile. 

Miguel took off his mask, leaned against the doorframe, and asked casually, “Was that man just now your husband?” 

“Yes.” Romina looked down at the list of medicinal supplies, chatting with him. “But we’re about to get divorced. Once he signs the papers, we’ll go through the formalities.” 

“You should divorce him.” Miguel gave her a thumbs up. “A man that unfaithful isn’t worth keeping.” 

Romina lifted her eyelids and smiled faintly. “Is that so? Do you think he looks unfaithful?” 

“I’m pretty good at reading people. Anyway, the feeling he gives me is that you two just don’t match.” Miguel said curiously, “I actually thought the man I saw on the day of the interview was your husband! That guy seemed pretty decent…” 

Romina’s hand, holding the list, paused involuntarily. 

The day of the interview? 

Her mind raced, and suddenly, an exceptionally handsome face flashed before her eyes. 

It was Joaquin. 

“You’ve misunderstood. He’s my husband’s uncle. To be precise, my ex–husband’s uncle…” 

“So you’re all family? No wonder everyone is so good–looking.” Miguel smiled lightly. “That’s a pity, though. If it weren’t Joaquin, I would have hoped you two could be together. You really look like a good match standing side by side.” 

Romina lifted her eyelids and looked at Miguel in front of her, her checks involuntarily tinged with a faint blush. “How are we a good match? Don’t say things like that, or he might hear you.” 

“I feel like that man looks familiar, as if I’ve seen him somewhere before…‘

As soon as Romina finished speaking, Miguel’s pupils widened in shock. 

Although it was their first meeting, the reputation of Prima Group and Joaquin was known to almost ev- eryone in Straland. 

“So he’s Joaquin?” 

Romina nodded gently. “Looks like you know the name.” 

“Of course! Mr. Bowman is famous throughout the business world. Of course I’ve heard of him.” 

At that moment, footsteps sounded at the door. 

A patient had arrived. 

“Romi, there’s a patient here. I’ll catch up with you later.” 

“Alright.” 

Romina watched as he closed the main door, the corners of her lips involuntarily curving upward. 

Who would have thought that Miguel was such a gossip–loving young man. 

On the first day of business, the results were even better than Romina had imagined, with revenue far exceeding her expectations. 

By the time she finished work, it was already very late. 

After Miguel left, Romina also planned to head home. 

She had just picked up her bag and stood up when she saw a figure walk in. 

The newcomers were Nadine and Valery. 

Romina’s brows furrowed involuntarily. “What are you doing here?” 

“What else would we do at the wellness clinic? Of course, we’re here to see Ms. Sandoval for a consul- tation.” Valery quickly walked forward, sat directly in the consultation chair, and held her forehead. “I’m feeling quite dizzy, Ms. Sandoval. Would you mind checking what’s wrong with me?” 

Romina glanced back at her. “We’re already closed. If you need a doctor, go see your father.” 

“The wellness clinic may be closed, but you’re still here, aren’t you?” Nadine took off her sunglasses

“Of course I want to do business, but I’m a person of principle. I absolutely refuse to do business with fools.” 

As soon as she finished speaking, Valery slammed the table in anger. “Romina, you’d better watch mouth. Who are you calling a fool?”
