At first, everyone thought Sandria was just for show.
But in less than half an hour, Sandria quietly fixed a vulnerability that had stumped them for days.
The way everyone looked at her changed instantly.
Was this woman really that impressive?
At that moment, a voice spoke up.
“Ms. Schroeder, I see you’ve been sitting here for so long without even a glass of water. You must be thirsty, right?”
Sandria looked up to see a middle–aged man introducing himself. “I’m the department manager, Zaiden Carson.”
“Hello.”
Sandria didn’t take the water, but greeted him politely.
“Our company’s defense system was personally developed by Mr. Merritt. Ms. Schroeder, you look quite young–are you here to learn from us this time?”
“You’re Mr. Merritt’s guest, so I must treat you well. But Ms. Schroeder, you’ve been working for so long–would you like to take a break?”
Sandria frowned, her fox–like eyes lifting just in time to catch the fleeting coldness on Zaiden’s face.
Suddenly, she laughed.
“Mr. Carson is right, I am indeed a bit tired. I should take a break.”
Her fingers danced swiftly as she typed in the last line of code, then stood up. “I’ll come back another day to continue learning.”
Declining Antony’s offer to personally see her out, Sandria left Shield Technologies.
The car sped down the road as Sandria’s thoughts raced,
She had actually noticed something off just now.
There was a vulnerability in the firewall, and it wasn’t something easily discovered–an ordinary programmer would never have found it.
Moreover, it didn’t seem like a natural flaw; rather, it looked like… someone had done it on purpose.

She had seen this kind of common business tactic before.
It seemed Shield Technologies had a mole!

Antony was such a smart person, and this was his area of expertise. Was he aware of the firewall vulnerability or not?
Should she tell him or not?
Suddenly, her phone interrupted her train of thought.
“Sandy, where are you? We just landed a big client recently, and I want to celebrate. Do you have time?”
“This is our studio’s first major client since we opened! And we can also discuss our future collaboration.” Lynette emphasized again.
Sandria glanced at the sky. “It’s getting late. Where are we celebrating? I’ll come pick you up.”
“Of course we have to drink to celebrate! I’ll send you the address, just come over yourself.”
Lynette sent her the address of a bar.
Sandria turned her car around and drove over.
The neon lights shone on the men and women twisting in the dance floor, and as a graceful figure passed by, she im- mediately drew a lot of attention.
Beneath Sandria’s body–hugging dress were a pair of long, slender legs, and her high heels remained steady even in the noisy bar.
Her curly hair cascaded over her shoulders, leaving a lingering fragrance as she walked by.
When she arrived at the reserved booth, Lynette finally teased her.
“You little enchantress, wherever you go you steal the souls of all those men. Just look at how many of them were itching to talk to you along the way!”
Sandria tossed her hair, exuding confidence.
“It’s not my fault I’m good–looking.”
Seeing her like this, Lynette pouted. “Alright, alright, you’re beautiful, whatever you say. But Sandy, why does the person on today’s headlines look a bit like you?”
As she spoke, she took out her phone and showed it to Sandria.
Sandria glanced at it and saw it was a statement from the Schroeder family about searching for their missing daughter.
She instantly felt a bit guilty and nodded. “Well, Lindsay, that person is… me.”
“What???”
Lynette let out a shriek.
