Chapter 84.

She brushed his hand away, her voice a little hoarse, I liked you a few years ago, but not anymore…”

From start to finish, she didn’t “want to” see the sea at Nyang Nyang Beach; she just wanted to go with him, all because of a silly rumor:”Couples who walk together on Nyang Nyang Beach can stay together

forever.”

Now he and she didn’t want it anymore, Nyang Nyang Beach was just an empty thing.

Armando didn’t get her hint and just thought she didn’t want to go there. Well, it had been so many years, not liking it was normal.

He said, “So where do you want to go? Anywhere in or out of the country is fine. I’ll set aside half a month just to be with you, okay?”

There was a hint of flattery in his words.

How could Jovana not tell? She let out a soft sigh,”Let’s go back first, we’ll talk about this later. Are the discharge papers done? Let’s go…”

Armando just stood there, not snapping out of it for a while.

In the future…

Somehow, when he heard this word, he felt pretty uncomfortable inside, kind of tormented and impatient.

She knew he was decisive, always got things done fast, and didn’t like to wait.

But right now, Armando didn’t have the nerve to say anything. He just agreed, helped her carry the packed stuff, and quietly followed behind her out of the hospital.

“I had to go to the office later, there was a dinner I couldn’t get out of, so I asked my secretary to take you home, okay? I went back to keep you company at night.”

Downstairs at the hospital, Armando thoughtfully opened the car door for her, holding onto the top of

the door frame.

Jovana just said yeah quietly and got in the car. She didn’t want to sound like a nagging wife and ask him if he was really going to a dinner or just using it as an excuse to be with Juliette.

Felt sorry.

She still had to go to Glory Fencing Club later, and she didn’t want outsiders to see her all messy.

“Drive more steadily, and slower, Jovana gets carsick,” Armando reminded carefully.

“Okay, Mr. Dunbar.”

Jovana looked out the window and didn’t say anything.

Watching the car drive away, Armando finally looked away. After a while, a Bentley stopped in front of him. He got in the back seat and rubbed his brow, looking a bit tired.

“Mr. Dunbar, Harland, already got to Glory Fencing Club,” Normand said.

Armando suddenly opened his eyes, lowering his gaze full of deep, unreadable darkness.

“Go to Glory Fencing Club.”

“Also, I heard Zachary got sent to the police station by the Crosier family. Send someone to keep an eye on him, use some tricks, I want him dead!”

There was a ruthless look in Armando’s eyes.

He had planned to deal with Zachary after he was no longer useful, but that guy clearly didn’t know what was good for him and kept picking on his people again and again.

The car was halfway there.

Jovana told the driver to stop and got out herself. She was in a hurry to see Harland. If the driver found out and it got back to Armando, there would be another fight.

She casually said, “I’m going to the mall to buy something. You go home first, I’ll just take a cab back later.”

The driver looked a bit troubled, “Mr. Dunbar said I should take

you home…”

Jovana didn’t want to make things hard for him, “You can go back. I’ll call Armando in a bit and let him

know.”

Hearing that, the driver had to give in.

After the car left, Jovana really did go to the mall.

In a hidden spot not far away, the driver saw that Jovana really went to the mall. After telling Armando, he drove off.

At the mall, Jovana headed straight to the men’s section, bought a dark suit, and picked out a pair of obsidian cufflinks.

Last time, the suit she wore from Harland was obviously custom-made. She couldn’t get the same one, so she could only buy something similar.

The shop assistant introduced from the side and couldn’t help saying, “Miss, you and your husband must have a great relationship. You were really patient when picking out clothes!”

Jovana paused, her face turning a bit red, “Not for my husband, for a…” she hesitated, “for a friend.” “Oh!” The shop assistant smiled and said, “Buying it for your boyfriend, right?”

Jovana coughed out loud, thinking the more she said, the more mistakes she’d make. In the end, she just laughed it off. As she kept laughing, there was a bit of bitterness in it, and she seemed a little hurt.
