Chapter 16 “Everything you said is because you’re upset, right? Someone as gentle as you won’t ever say something like that!” he cried. Bruno looked at me almost pleadingly. Chapter 15 My surprised gaze instantly fell on Bruno. Even the doctor was taken aback by the absurdity. He yanked Bruno’s hand off his collar and said bluntly, “Stop talking nonsense.” With that, he turned and went back into the operating room. He was only coming out to deliver the message, anyway.
